WE TOLD YOU SO
Yes, we may sound obnoxious but back in January 2009 and in the months which followed, we warned that Priority One Credit Union's President, Charles R. Wiggington, Sr.'s incompetence and undisciplined personal behaviors could in time, adversely undermine the credit union as a business and employer and as time has proven, we were correct.
It's not that we're clairvoyant but rather that we know Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. and his posy of incompetent managers. The credit union's Monthly Income Statement/Balance Sheet reveals losses at a negative -$584,253. You can attribute the losses to President Wiggington's ineptitude and of course, the inanity of the Board of Directors who under its Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks, seem to be paralyzed by incompetence.
The losses come despite the President's and COO, Beatrice Walker's not-so-clever manipulative financial reporting practice. Currently, Priority One is losing approximately $68,000 per month despite drastic cut-backs and the recent closure of two of its branches.
Of course losses aside, the President continues to reap a salary in excess of $150,000 while his hand-picked COO, earns more than $100,000 per year. Its both amazing and preposterous. We have to assume Priority One is a financial fitness center for the credit union's executive sector and evidently, they're the only ones winning with money.
WHO'S THE BOSS?
As we've reported for several months, the credit union has been the sight of an ongoing power struggle between the useless and incompetent, President Wiggington, and equally incompetent COO, Beatrice Walker.
Their struggle pits two amoral people with a proclivity for lying and abuse, against one another. One, a Black man with a BA in Afro-American studies and the other, a White woman with an MBA in business. So who controls the credit union? Recently, Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. informed a group of members visiting the credit union’s main office, that Bea Walker is “the one who makes all the decisions around here”. The President being too modest. After all, in the years before Ms. Walker's arrival (January 1, 2007 - June 1, 2009),
it was Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. whose frequent failures caused the credit union's decline. However, having a penchant for avoiding accountability both the President and Board of Directors Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks, frequently dipped into the credit union's coffers dredging out lots and lots of money to finance what became a series of highly expensive and failed projects.
Just two months following COO, Beatrice Walker's June 1, 2009, arrival, the Board began reallocating much of the President's authority to the COO. By December 2009, it was evident the President had taken a secondary role at the credit union and that it was Ms. Walker's who was making all key decisions.
Since here arrival in June 2009, Ms. Walker carried out the laying-off of many employees and she reduced marketing and business development budgets and reduced the hours of some full-time employees, from 40 to 20 and with the reduction, eliminated their benefits. She's also introduced what have become a line of poorly performing and failed products including Courtesy Pay, Skip-a-Pay, Priority Pay, etc. But despite her constant failures, it wasn't until this past September that the Board suddenly became concerned about Ms. Walker, though it isn't her performance that elicited worry but rather rumors about her sexuality.
The problem with Ms. Walker isn't her sexuality but her character and deplorable behaviors. What should be deemed peculiar is that the band of ignorant Directors are allegedly taking issue with rumors about her sexuality but completely ignoring the fact that in 2008, a detective from EXTTI, Inc. provided the Board of Directors evidence that Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. sexually harassed a former female employee but decided to retain his employment. Yes, it's pure, unadulterated hypocrisy but typical of Priority One's color-prone Board.
As we warned long before Beatrice Walker's arrival to the credit union, that the continued, unchecked behaviors of Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. would lead to the ruination of the credit union. We were correct.
THE COWARDLY KING,
THE WITCH, AND THE
PRINCESS
Most businesses avoid drama, viewing it as counter-productive and potentially destructive. Not so at Priority One Credit Union where it's highly emotional and unmanly President seems obsessed with gossip, melodrama and intrigue.
As reported last month, shortly following her arrival to Priority One on June 1, 2009, Beatrice Walker conducted an analysis of the performance of each of the credit union's branches to determine which were most profitable. She concluded that to reduce spending, she would have to close the Burbank, Redlands and Valencia branches. Ms. Walker also decided to visit each branch so that she could meet each Branch Manager. What wasn't part of Ms. Walker's plan was that she would be smitten by the Valencia Branch Manager.
SINGLE WHITE WOMAN
After meeting the Branch Manager, Ms. Walker began leaving her office in South Pasadena, early each afternoon and driving to the Valencia branch where she would spend the afternoons talking to the Branch Manager. She soon began trying to fore a friendship with the manager and initially succeeded one or two weekend invitations to the Branch Manager's home.
In the weeks which followed, Ms. Walker, a resident of Santa Clarita, asked President Wiggington if she could transfer her office from the main office in South Pasadena to Valencia. The president quickly denied her request. Within three months, Ms. Walker disclosed that she had decided not to close the Valencia branch, having found that they produced more than sufficient business to retain opening of that office. She, however, asked the Branch Manager and Senior Vice President, Rodger Smock, to identify less expensive locations where the branch could relocate to and thus, operate at a lesser cost to the credit union.
In April 2010, Ms. Walker issued an inter-office announcement via the company Intranet, announcing that the Valencia Branch Manager would be coming to the main office in South Pasadena, to temporarily cross-train with the South Pasadena Branch Manager. Her announcement was incredibly illogical, since the Valencia Branch Manager was known to be highly competent and cross-training with the South Pasadena Branch Manager served no value to either Branch Manager or the credit union as a whole. The announcement also disclosed that that South Pasadena Branch Manager would be sent to work, three days per week, in the Call Center, where she would answer incoming calls like any other Call Center representative.
On the day the Branch Manager arrived in South Pasadena, she was greeted by employees, many who hugged her and who said they were happy she would be working at the main branch. She was also met by the COO who wore a purple-colored suite, a beige blouse and an string of pearls, attire Ms. Walker had never been seeing wearing at anytime since her arrival. The COO met her at the reception desk and then escorted the Branch Manager to the desk of the consumer loan officer. The COO never returned to her office and instead, remained seated alongside the Branch Manager, while she underwent training in loan processing procedures.
In the days which followed, the COO confided to the Branch Manager that names of employees she personally disliked and the names of those she believed were attempting to undermine her authority. She also revealed which employees she planned on terminating. Ms. Walker was so confidant about her friendship that she on May 5th, she blurted out that the “Mexicans” at the South Pasadena branch were all members of the “Mexican Mafia.”
ALL OF ME OR NONE OF ME
But Ms. Walker's efforts to force a "friendship" failed. Though she had done everything in her power to draw close to the Branch Manager, Ms. Walker soon realized that the Branch Manager was distancing herself and refusing to respond to the COO's overtures.
Ms. Walker ignored the fact that the Branch Manager is married and has children and a home life outside the credit union and continued insisting that they go on weekend shopping excursions. Ms. Walker even talked the Branch Manager into introducing herself to her hairdresser and showing her where she buys her clothes.
As the Branch Manager became less and less available, Ms. Walker began seething and scorned, launched a scathing campaign designed to destroy the Branch Manager's reputation.
Ms. Walker told her confidant's, Yvonne Boutte and Joseph Garcia, that she found the Branch Manager "difficult" and "a huge disappointment." She also expressed her dissatisfaction to the Santa Clarita Business Development Representative. Ms. Walker found it more and more difficult to control her emotions and next turned her complaints to AVP, Rodger Smock, and accused the Branch Manager of being "stubborn" and "too independent". What could the Branch Manager have done that provoked Ms. Walker into such an emotional tirade?
Ms. Walker began publicly scrutinizing the Branch Manager's performance and even mocked her Spanish accent. The Branch Manager left the South Pasadena branch and returned to her office in Santa Clarita, but Ms. Walker's campaign was only about to escalate. Unbeknownst to the Valencia Branch Manager, Ms. Walker issued orders to all branch managers, including Consumer Loan Manager, Joseph Garcia, prohibiting all communication with the Branch Manager.
Tired of Ms. Walker's attacks, the Branch Manager left the credit union on sick leave. Despite her departure, Ms. Walker again escalated her attacked and ordered the IT Department to forward all of the Branch Manager's emails and voicemails to her so that she could read and listen to these.
The COO also instructed notorious and incompetent AVP, Sylvia Perez, to report to the Valencia Branch where she would remain while the Branch Manager remained on leave. Ms. Walker also ordered that the AVP build close relations with the Valencia staff and that she extract information which could help build a case against the Branch Manager. Mrs.Perez quickly bonded with Dana Gilliam and Judith Barajas, both FSR’s who complained incessantly about the Branch Manager’s abilities despite the fact that records prove the Branch Manager succeeded in increasing membership and revenue over a three year period. Coincidentally, Dana and Judith complained years earlier about the previous Branch Manager, leveling lies which Mrs. Perez chose conveniently, not to investigate, eventually forcing that Branch Manager, to resign.
Ms. Walker also ordered AVP, Rodger Smock, to contact the Branch Manager and demand she return her keys to the Valencia office and if she refused, to change all locks to that office and change the security code to the branch's alarm system. .
Ms. Walker also told the Valencia Assistant Branch Manager, Judith Barajas, that she would be transferred to work at the Burbank office where she would begin serving as that branch’s new Assistant Branch Manager.
VIOLATING STATE LAW
While the Branch Manager remained out on medical leave, Ms. Walker again escalated her efforts and instructed Human Resources "clerk", Esmeralda Sandoval, to file a Workman's Compensation claim on behalf (and without the knowledge) of the Valencia Branch Manager. Ms. Walker was arrogant and simultaneously stupid enough, to provide a reason for her request. She told Miss Sandoval that if a Workman's Compensation Claim were filed, it would become public record and could potentially serve to further tarnish the Valencia Branch Manager's reputation. The unintelligent and evidently, ethically pliable Miss Sandoval who should have known that what Ms. Walker ordered was illegal, easily conceded and filed the claim.
The Valencia Branch Manager was contacted by the Workman's Compensation Board who were told she never filed a claim. The Board informed her they would initiate an investigation that would specifically target Beatrice Walker.
THE RETURN
The Valencia Branch Manager returned to work during the first week of September. She quickly discovered she had been ostracized by Ms. Walker from both her staff and other branch managers. Her emails and telephone calls to her supervisor, the notorious AVP, Sylvia Perez, were not responded to. When she called other branch managers with business-related questions, they refused to respond to her inquiries and in some cases, told her they couldn't help her.
She also discovered that many on her staff had become aloof and even belligerent and in some cases, refused to follow her instructions.
After a few days, the Branch Manager drove to the main branch in South Pasadena and entered the Human Resources Department where she lodged a verbal complaint against Ms. Walker, to Esmeralda Sandoval. At first, Miss Sandoval fidgeted and nervously tried to invalidate the Branch Manager's complaint but stopped when the Branch Manager told her she didn't trust her to initiate a proper and objective investigation of her complaint.
Defensively, Miss Sandoval asserted that she is trustworthy and will always do what is right. Evidently, Miss Sandoval lives in an alternate reality. After her meeting with the Branch Manager, Miss Sandoval informed the President of the complaint. The President next conferred with AVP, Rodger Smock.
A few days later, the President accompanied by AVP, Rodge Smock, drove to the Valencia Branch and informed the Manager that Ms. Walker and CFO, Saeid Raad, had decided to close her branch as part of ongoing efforts to reduce spending. The President stated the office would close at the end of October. After informing her of the impending closure, he told her he had learned of her complaint of Beatrice Walker and wanted to assure her that he would conduct a fair and impartial investigation and if necessary, deal with Ms. Walker.
We of course, can't believe anything said by President Wiggington- a proven sexual harasser and the man who has since January 2010, ordered the frequent manipulation of financial reporting.
During the meeting, statements were obtained from the Santa Clarita Business Development Representative who had been present when Ms. Walker publicly disparaged the Valencia Branch Manager.
During the meeting, Ms. Walker called the Valencia Branch and asked one of her stoolies what was being discussed in the meeting. Unfortunately, for Ms. Walker, her spy couldn't provide any information because the Branch Manager's office door was closed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President informed Mr. Smock, the Branch Manager and the Business Development Representative that he intended on removing Ms. Walker's authority over Human Resources, By the way, his disclosure constitutes a violation of confidentiality.
The President also informed the Branch Manager that it was imperative that she document her complaints against Ms. Walker and that these be provided to him within a week. His request was pure hypocrisy. The President has often criticized employees who document abuses, yet he asked the Branch Manager to document her complaint.

- Ms. Walker told several employees she could “no longer work with that branch manager”;
- On May 5th Ms. Walker made a racial slur against “the Mexicans” working in South Pasadena;
- The Branch Manager described Ms. Walker of strangely possessive and that she had insisted that the Branch Manager meet with her on weekends to go shopping, have lunch, and participate in community events in the Santa Clarita Valley.
- The Loan Manager informed the Branch Manager that the COO had disparaged her character and described her as a person prone to lie.
- While on leave, Ms. Walker’s son visited the Valencia branch and informed some of the staff that the Branch Manager was out on a medical leave of absence, a fact that could only have been divulged by his mother, Beatrice Walker, and one which constituted another blatant violation of confidentiality.
- Ms. Walker began "stalking the branch manager" and was seen by neighbors parked near the Branch Manager's home, spying on her residence.
Several days after receiving the Branch Manager's letter, President Wiggington sent the Manager the following letter to the Branch Manager describing the findings obtained from his allegedly unbiased and thorough investigation of the manager's complaints:
The letter is a testament to the far flung corruption saturating Priority One Credit Union and speaks volumes about the President who is a proven sexual harasser.
We've learned recently that his letter was dictated to him by the always corrupt, Board Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks. According to Mrs. Harris-Brooks, the credit union can't afford another scandal. When Mrs. Harris-Brooks reads this post, she'll realize that another scandal is exactly what she's got.
We agree, it was President Wiggington who hired Ms. Walker, who like himself has proven to be a pariah to business and employee morale. In his absurd letter he tries but fails to trivialize the Branch Manager's complaints and asserts
At Priority One, the handling, actually mishandling of employee complaints isn't something new. For years, AVP, Rodger Smock, has intentionally and blatantly violated credit union policy and refused to conduct mandated investigations or apprise grievants of his findings, despite he is required to do so under credit union policy.
The President concludes his letter with one of his more absurd statements, alleging that “protocols are provided as guidelines to help safeguard the values and friendly working environment we enjoy.” Few employees enjoy the working at Priority One. It is difficult working for an amoral despot whose history of violating policies and laws is overshadowed by his need to subjugate and harass staff.
A few days following issuance of his letter, Human Resources Representative, Esmeralda Sandoval contacted the Branch Manager and informed her that she had two days in which to decide whether she would accept a position as an assistant branch manager along with a a substantial cut in salary or accept a severance package. Having been allotted less than 48 hours in which to decide and with consideration to the tremendous abuse she had been subjected to and in light of the travesty committed by President Wiggington, she accepted the severance package though stipulating that her her final day of employment would be at the end of October. A problem quickly arose when the chronically incompetent Ms. Sandoval realized she failed to provide any details contained in the severance package offered the Branch Manager. Oops.
Ms. Sandoval consulted President Wiggington, COO, Walker, and Senior Vice President, Rodger Smock, all of who advised her that the Branch Manager had set her own terms when she informed the company that she would leave at the end of October. Ms. Walker quickly ordered that Ms. Sandoval send an email to the Branch Manager, requesting she submit a letter of resignation. Ms. Walker explained the letter would nullify the terms of the severance agreement and free the credit union of any obligation they might have had to issue severance pay. She also giddily exclaimed that a resignation letter would provide Priority One the right to deny payment of future unemployment benefits to the Branch Manager. Ms. Walker described this as a win-win situation for the credit union which would be easily clinched, by merely obtaining a letter of resignation from the Branch Manager.
And so donning the role of “go for”, Ms. Sandoval attempted in earnest to extract a letter of resignation from the Branch Manager, though it had never occurred to Ms. Sandoval due to her lack of knowledge, that it was she who offered a severance package on behalf of the credit union and it was she, who entered into a verbal agreement with the now former Branch Manager. Oops, again.
A few days later, the Branch Manager left the credit union without having submitted a letter of resignation.
Coincidentally, the Business Development Representative who served as witness to the Branch Manager’s complaint, resigned one week prior to the Branch Manager’s departure. Her reasons for resigning were related in part, to the financial hardship incurred when her hours were reduced from 40 to 20 per week. The other reason for her departure included being disillusioned in how the President chose to squash the violations of state and federal law committed by Ms. Walker.
In 2008, Board Chairperson, Diedra Harris-Brooks, squashed evidence proving beyond a doubt, that President Wiggington sexually harassed a former employee. She would later state that based on her "understanding" sexual harassment as defined by federal law, never occurred. But Mrs. Harris-Brooks went further when she victimized the former employee and accused her of encouraging the President to verbalize sexually explicit comments.
In 2009, we reported that while serving as Vice President of Operations, Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. ordered repossession of an automobile financed by a now former member. Prior to repossessing the vehicle, the then credit collections supervisor worked out a repayment plan with the member whose loan payments had become delinquent as a result of illness in his family. Despite the agreement, Mr. Wiggington ordered that the vehicle- a BMW, be repossessed and afterwards, transferred ownership under his name. Following exposure of the incident on this blog, Mr. Wiggington denied ever having owned the vehicle but when we published the automobile's Vehicle Identification Number, he amended his story and insisted he bought the vehicle from a dealership.
DMV records show that the vehicle was owned by a member of the credit union and later, ownership transferred to Mr. Wiggington. There was no reference to the name of a dealership. Here is a copy of a letter sent by Mr. Wiggington to the state's Department of Motor Vehicles, requesting they transfer ownership to his friend, Odell Richards. Obviously, the President did have possession of an automobile once financed by member, Danny Wafa, before giving the vehicle to his friend, Odell Richards.

Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. is a man who certainly has much to hid. It's necessary to his survival. Contrary to his initial denials of ever having owned the automobile, his letter to the Office of the Deputy Director proves he did in fact own the vehicle. By the way, his favorite automobiles are automobiles. He currently owns four, used, old BMW's.
FINANCING A SALVAGED AUTOMOBILE
Credit unions don't financed salvaged vehicles. Well, at least every other credit union except Priority One.
Earlier this year, the COO introduced Auto Alliance to the credit union, announcing that this is the only auto broker that will be promoted by the credit union. Her order means that credit union will desist from recommending their long-time auto broker, Universal Leasing and Auto Sales.
On the day the new broker arrived at the South Pasadena branch, there was an exchange of hugs and kisses with Ms. Walker who exclaimed, "They are my friends." Ms. Walker escorted the broker's representative to a desk she had prepared in the Loan Department and where he will sit and meet with members who express and in interest in purchasing automobiles.
A few months ago, an employee of the Collections Department purchased a Mini Cooper from Auto Alliance. The employee would later, gleefully exclaim that she was so happy to have obtained funding for her vehicle. That certainly was a celebratory moment.
During a recent storm, rain seeped into the vehicle, damaging the interior. The employee reported the problem to Auto Alliance's representative because seepage should not have occurred. Days passed and Auto Alliance's representative did not respond. Frustrated, the employee contacted Auto Alliance's headquarters and found they were not interested in assisting her. She told co-workers that Auto Alliance's representatives had been curt and even tried brushing her off. Eventually, Auto Alliance conceded and sent one of their employees to test drive the vehicle. But wasn't the problem that water seeped into the interior? She never complained about mechanical problems.
Tired, she asked her husband to trade the vehicle in. Her husband took the car to a dealer for the purpose of trading it for another but was informed that the vehicle was salvaged a fact never disclosed to her by Auto Alliance.
The dealer also discovered discrepancies with the vehicle identification number referenced in state records and the number referenced in the sales agreement she signed.
Priority One doesn't fund salvaged vehicles. They are a liability. The value of salvaged automobiles is much less than those of non-salvaged vehicles. Additionally, when financing an automobile, the credit union requires full insurance coverage. It is almost always impossible to find insurance carriers willing to provide full coverage for a salvaged vehicle. Furthermore, if a salvaged vehicle is involved in an accident, the amount paid out by the insurance company is far less than that paid for non-salvaged automobiles.
The employee reported what she had been told to her supervisor, Yvonne Boutte, the Director of Project Management. Her supervisor, a confidant of Beatrice Walker, ordered that she not discuss the incident with anyone.
Eventually, the employee was able to rid herself of the salvaged automobile and obtain a new, unsalvaged vehicle. So how was Auto Alliance able to deceitfully sell a used and salvaged vehicle as a new automobile? And why did the credit union fund the salvaged automobile?

ANOTHER HORROR STORY
You might find less drama in any episode of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” than you'll find at Priority One Credit Union.
The malicious antics of President Wiggington and COO, Beatrice Walker, know no bounds. Apparently, the two may believe they are exempt from abiding to laws and policies.
The allegations lodged against Ms. Walker suggest a woman encumbered by deep rooted emotional problems and a lack of personal self-discipline.
The President's attempt to quietly squash the Valencia Branch Manager's allegations prove that he is a man without a moral compass. Is the President a sociopath?
It's almost inconceivable that the credit union is saturated by so many corrupt and dishonest officers. Esmeralda Sandoval proved she is also amoral and putty in the hands of her superiors. AVP, Rodger Smock's refusal to conduct himself conscientiously and respectful to the position he holds as overseer of the credit union's policies, is less surprising. A few years ago he described himself as a "peacemaker" but what he really is is apathetic and an opportunist who seeks whatever means is needed to ensure his continued employment.
Don't expect the credit union to escape the mire its been placed in by President Wiggington and Board Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks. This is a company who expends tremendous effort hiding its violations of state and federal laws though to date, their efforts have failed as their plots have all found their way to this blog.

Before the last staff meeting I heard Yvonne telling her collection people that Suzanna had done something against Bea. Yvonne is such as a-hole, she lied. Obviously it was single white woman Bea that tried to screw Suzanne over. The good news is Suzanna got a great job right after she left P1 and its a promotion. The other good news is Darlene also got a great job working in a good environment for a better company. At least they don't have to work for a backstabbing slum ghetto president or a trailer yard COO. They both show there are better chances to employees who leave horrible P1.

Susanna did find new employment
with an actually professionally run company. She proved that she possesses the qualities and experience that another, better company appreciated and wanted.
She prevailed and lost absolutely nothing by leaving the horrible working environment of a declining credit union. Kuddos to Susanna for taking the high road.
What? She already has another job? Where did she go? She's left us two weeks ago! It must be nice to be able to find another job so fast. I knew it, I knew she had another job or something else going on only because i dont think she would have not left Priority One she seemed to like the company. However, if she has another job already good for her it was a smart move.

Why is Wiggington still CEO? Where is the supvr comm or the board? How can the COO run wild and definitely break policy and possibly the law? How can they allow hiring an HR rep who doesn't know anything about HR? And selling one salvaged auto should be enough to kick off an audit. I remember you telling me you never had that vehicle and that someone in the company was just trying to get you because they were jealous you were president. Did you forget about your letter? Are you still sticking to that story? And that other letter, what a piece of work. Did Diedra help you write it? You should be sued and you and the COO fired. This is not the credit union we knew.

We would like to thank the person who emailed us Mr. Wiggington's responsive letter to the "his" investigation. It should serve as a lesson not to leave documents lying atop printers and fax machines, though any other future submissions will be welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Screwing over employees is what they've been doing for a long time. It used to happen when Harris was president but not as much. Problem was Mr Harris thought anything his people told him was true and so he didn't bother to question them or investigate. Before he left he found out what a backstabber Wigg was and then when Wigg became president the abuses jumped and people started dropping like flies. But it got even worse when that woman Bea showed her ugly face up at the credit union. She's taken everything to a new low with lies and thinking everyone's out to get her. Honey, no one wants you, so get over it!
What I'm sick of is Bea saying "you're on our team." No, Bea, you're not only not on OUR team you tried to break up the team because your a trouble maker.
Bea had that much time when business was falling to set up the "us" and "them" and then bad mouth a GREAT employee. You start admitting this is confidential information and ask a bunch of questions no one should answer and then you end by saying that the bloggers are gossiping and the information which has to include the copies of Wigg's letters, are made up. No wonder P1 is falling apart. If you're what P1is hiring then members run for the hills!
I want to know why the ncua or dfi has not investigated Wiggington and gotten him for taking that car? I suspect the car wasn't sent to auction so how did he pull that off? And I'd like to see the member's loan record. What's the balance on it? Does it show that the loan was written off and does it show any payments after it was written off? If P1 did what they were supposed to, then the loan would have been reduced by whatever amount they sold it for at auction. P1 would have to show copies of the postings of any payments done back right after the vehicle was sold at auction. Anything dated now would not only not be acceptable but show that Wiggington committed fraud against P1. So Wiggington ready to step up to the plate?
I looked up the information on the member and the car was a write off with no payment being applied after the write off, the file went missing and yes Charles stole the car from the member. The member did try to get his car back but was told it was too late for that I did contact the member and told him what happen to his car so he is aware of what happen. Did Charles “take” the members car? You can make a sure bet on that. Is the board aware of what he did? Miss Queen Bitch covered his ass along with other members of the board. Always remember the board works for us the members and we can always vote them OUT.
So we have a psycho, thief, bitch, little boy, and a fat queen running the credit union, If you are smart close your account just leave $5.00 in your savings so you can still vote.
Back in 07, I also looked for the file in the old file room. It wasn't in the closed, open or write-off files. One of the collectors checked the files in his department and then checked the files at the main office in Glendora and it wasn't there either. Wiggington made up phoney papers to make it look like it was sent to auction but if you go to the auction house, theire records show they never auctioned of the car. Wiggington repossessed the car when the member agreed to enter the repayment agreement. wiggington forged auction papers and then he defrauded the cu when he didn't sell the vehicle tne kept it without paying for it. In other words he broke the law! At least we now have a document that proves he was in possession of the car which he tried to tell us he bought at a dealership.
At least that letter proves Wiggington had the car. The state should also have a microfisched copy in their files. Wiggington is no small liar or fraud artist.
Explain how any broker could sell a salvage car without knowning it was salvage? And why didn't they want to help the employee when she told them there was a leaks in the car? P1 doesn't know anything about member service, you can tell by the way their reps talk to you when you call the cu for info.
Explain? Their dishonest & they don't care.

Why are they losing so much money? Mismanagement. Bea's latest idea is seling VISA gift cards. That's okay, but that's like trying to save a corporation by selling lemonade. She's just unbelievably stupid and she has no vision. Her greatest strength is backstabbing but that doesn't really help bring in new business, does it?
Have you seen their rating? www.bauerfinancial.com shows they have a 2 star rating. What does that mean? In 2007,. they had a 5 star rating, now that's something to brag about. 5 stars means SUPERIOR but since Charles Wiggington took over and since Bea Walker or Beatrice Walker arrived, they now have a 2 star rating. 5 stars is superior and 2 stars is problematic.
These 2 idiots have put P1 in the toilet. Sexual harasser and bread puddin face thought wasting time on backstabbing was okay but it never occured to these 2 numskulls it might just hurt business.
You can also blame that useless ghetto board and supervisory committe and Diedra Harris Brooks and Cornelis Simmons for pushing P1into the toilet. What a bunch of losers!

How can they say that everthing is okay the proof is in the bread pudding face of Bea Walker.
They ended Oct over $600,000 in the negative. They supposedly made a little over $99,000 but thats not from new business because they aren't bringing in enough to get out of the hole. Their ytd loss from operations is $59,085 and the loss on the sale of loans is over $45,000. Their allowance to cover loan losses went up over $2,800,000and their asset size is $61,234.006minus that $10 million they're still paying. They paid another $31,000 on interest on that loan for the month and their legal was over $14,000 for the month.
Walker and Wigg have laidoff/fired people and closed 2 branches so that cut their expenses so you can deduct whatever they're saving from less salaires and rent from that $95,000. They also sold some of their loans and you can deduct that too from the $95,000. You can deduct their cut backs on their other budgets and what you're left with is a measly amount.
Most businesses grow because they get business, Wigg and Walker are think that they're going to get growth from cutting back and thats not how it works ever. These two embiciles just don't get it. So the best they did for Oct was to cut down on spending with no new real business to speak of.
Captain Wiggelnothing and Admiral Gender Confused Walker, are leading P1 down the drain. They might not end 2010 at $1 million in losses but it will be over 1/2 million. What the 2 don't get is that even 1 cent in the black is profit. These 2 have created REAL LOSS over $ 1/2 million.
Bread Puddin' Face only knows how to chop away with her axe. She's made us employees poorer and taken benfits and we haven't had raises or reviews in years (except for the few she likes like Johnny and Joseph and Yvonne). He has us doing work thats not in our job description and she's made the cu a horrilbe place to work. No one I know likes coming to work but we have to because we need to live. You hardly see Bea in the office and she still takes long lunches with her "friend" Yvonne. Wiggington is useless and Rodger looks like crap, hobbling around the office like he's broke a leg. If you work there you can see just how bad were doing. Members are closing accounts and they tell us how much we've changed and how we're terrible. Their right.

The report shows they dropped to $161,234.006 (typo by the person who posted). You have to deduct $10
million loan to get their value which is $151,234,006. When Mr Harris was president they were worth around $174,000,000 that means they dropped $23,000,000 in 3years. Moron, Bea Walker, has made things worse because she's an ignoramous when it comes to anything financial. Hopefully this will be the last cu she leads to poverty. She used to be a call center manager at Honda. How good was she if the call center she put up at Priority is HORRIBLE? She used to oversee contracts, employee benefits, and HR at Electricore, but how good could she have been if she has proven at Priority she doesn't know how to set up business contracts that bring profit and she doesn't understand that you have to "pay" employees and give them "benefits" to help motivate them? Since 1999 she's worked at South Pasadena CU, Universal Studios CU, AIRCO, and Electricore. Does that sound like someone stable. Her reputation at AIRCO was horrible and that credit union had to file a claim with CUMIS to recover losses. She was cut from Universal Studios because they didn't like how she did business. Like all bad things, she got hired by Priority's board, one of the worst board's you will ever see. They're the laughing stock of the cu industry. What Bea did accomplish was bringing her friend Saeid Raad to the cu. The board didn't want to hire him permanently so she suggested a trial basis saying he would turn things around. Think about it, has he brought in new business? No. He doesn't even take care of investments, those are done by Jennifer Kelly, the accounting dept supervisor. Shouldn't that be part of his job? After all he gets paid $100,000+. He is reporting money to cover up losses at Bea and Wigg's request but it has to catch up because they're not making money from new business, they're getting money from cutting back spending. That's not growth and that's not new businss, something queen moron, Bea Walker, pretends she doesn't know.
At Priority when you can't get new business you play with the figures, lie about reporting and cutback staff, services and close branches. I bet they are really more than $600,000 in the negative and I bet if you ask them to prove where they made the LITTLE profit they show on the Oct report, they will either refuse to provide the proof, make up some lame excuse why they can't provide the info, or provide you with an outright lie.
You can't believe anything Bea or Wigg say. They tell you business is up and doing great but the reports show the opposite. Bea says they make profit and then you find out she had the CFO transfer money from one account to net income so it LOOKED like they made money but they didn't. She first told business development that the cu couldn't afford to pay their mileage so they were told not to drive far. When they did turn in their requests for reimbursement it took that incompent CFO 8 weeks to pay the BD reps their gas mileage. Didn't he understand they don't get paid over $100,000 like he does? She really wanted to get rid of BD all the way back in February but Wigg and the board got in her way. When it got exposed that she was backstabbing the BD team she exploded and told Yvonne she was going to teach the whole team a lesson, so she cut their hours in 1/2 and took away their benefits. She said, if they don't like it they could quit and that way it didn't look like she fired them. She's not only useless she's disgusting. During meetings she likes to be the center of attention and she tries to dominate meetings acting like she knows what she's talking about. $600,000 in the negative tells you she don't know squat except maybe about backstabbing. Have you noticed how she laughs loud and the way she pushes her opinions? She's really an embarassment with no class, no manners, and no life.

Thanks for the info on bauerfinancial.com. The cu has 2 star rating and that's a big fall from Mr Harris was president. It says 2 stars mean problematic. Thats what P1 has been brought to by Wigg and Walker - problematic. They have a lousy president, a lousier coo and a board and superviosry commitee who don't care.
Why aren't members filing a petition?
Either members aren't aware of what's going on at P1 or some can't open accounts somewhere else because of chexsystems. Maybe if it doesn't affects others, they don't care. I think most members don't have any idea what's going on or the things Wiggington, Walker, Smock, or Perez have done.
A lot of members don't even vote for members on the board and supervisory committee. I think as long as it doesn't affect them, they don't care.
I think a lot of people even the blogger are missing the point about that car Wiggington took. First, its not an allegation because there is evidence he had the car. Wiggington did a lot more than take a car. He didn't just do something unethical. When the car was repossessed it should have been sent to auction to be sold. The collection company instead made up phoney auction papers which is fraud. If Wiggington had paid for the car then why make up phoney auction papers? If the car had been sold at auction then whatever they got would have been applied to the unpaid loan balance which it was not! So Wiggington defraud the credit union of money and that my friends is a federal offense. He should be indicted. So what isn't the NCUA or DFI investigating? They can get copies of the original letter from the DMV and they can get the history of the car which shows that he got the car from a member not a dealer, like he used to tell people. This is a lot more serious then what this blog says.
p.s. If the board was told that about this case and if they covered it up or ignored it, then they should all be fired too.

Rodger Smock was fired from Superior Industries and he came to P1 to work as head of HR. He helped Wiggington and Bea Walker get rid of so employees using lies and he helped people like Sylvia Perez get away with lying about ex-employees like one BD rep who used to work for her and a former branch manager.
Bea Walker has lied and lied and lied about so many employees, backstabbed people, and fired a lot of good workers because she sees bloggers everywhere she looks. She was booted out of Universal Studios CU and when she was at AIRCO, they file a claim for losses with CUMIS. She comes to P1 and Diedra Harris-Brooks hires her as COO.
Wiggington sexually harassed an employee, took a member's car, slandered employees and fired them, he tried to bring Henry Justice back even though the guy stole more than $80,000 from the cu, he covered up the embezzlment at the Los Angeles branch, he sent out ballots with member's social security #'s and account numbers printed on the outide of the envelopes and then blamed the former IT supervisor and he's still president and still getting more than $100,000 a year thanks again to Diedra Harris-Brooks.
These people get so angry because the dirt is public. Too bad. They did it, so accept it.
A few weeks ago, Bea told managers they were going to have a xmas party. So what happened? They really can't afford it. How about showing some appreciation for putting your employees through hell and taking some of that big, overpaid salary and giving your employees a bonus so they can enjoy their xmas? You took their hours and benefits and they had to tolerate the worlds stupist managers, give them a couple of hundred $ each. It shouldn't cost too much since you have a lot less employees!!!!!!!

Diedra is typical of what P1 attracts. She was hated at the USPS by people who worked for her.
She used to work for James Smith,but he didn't like her and even though she was a manager over retail, she blamed him for keeping her down. That's why when he's tried to run for the board, she made sure she found that he didn't meet the candidate qualifications. Problem is, neither did some of the other candidates including that guy she illegally got to run last year. If you audit the whole board you're going to find several of them have don't have clean credit reports which is a must to run. Her postion on the board comes up for re-election in 2011. We need to get her useless fat ass off the board by campaigning against her and getting someone HONEST to take her place and set those board members straight!! She is to blame like Wigg and Bea for P1 losing 2 branches, terminations, lay-offs, wage freeze, and cut backs that hurt a lot of employees.
There us so much mediocre people here that sometimes they suck you in and it makes it hard to leave this f@&@&& place. I'd admire people like Suzanna and Darlene that just left without thinking and for ine thing i heared suzanna got a much better position and a better job same as Darlene. How did that happened? That simple and true except that if you were profiled, lied about and then fired, then no, you not only shouldn't just walk away, you should sue or file a complaint with the edd. If they fired 1 employee after harassing them and that employee doesn't do a thing about it, then it leaves the ones that are still there open for the same abuse. Were still puzzled on with Darlene and Suzanna. A lot of people I know has not even gotten and and interview yet. I guess they're just lucky and we missed them specially suzanna she was so nice and always happy.
The reason they got jobs is because they are professional and because whoever hired them liked how they interviewed. P1s loss. Guess they prefer keeping the type of managers that are left.

Where's Bea Walker? She hasn't been at South Pas and Irma said she's working out of Valencia. Didn't they close Valencia? Is that what a COO does, work out a closed branch?
Is the board goin to renew Wigg's contract AGAIN? It expires 12/31/01 and since he's done so many good things like lie and take a member's car he's a keeper.
Bea proved she can't work with humans so working at a closed down branch is a perfect fit. Anyway it doesn't take a genius to see that the only reason she's there is because its close to her home.
P1 has a really strict policy. If we get sick and are out too many days, our supervisors warn us that we could get written up but Wigg doesn't do a thing all day except talking to Saeid and taking long lunchs and leaving early. Bea is out in Valencia taking care of a closed down office and Rodger sits around his office supposdly working on special projects and taking long lunchs.
Bea isn't time you go wreck some other cu? Pick one that's doing good and where employees are happy and tke Wigg, Rodger and Esmeralda with you so you can finish really wreck the place.
Wishful thinking. Wigg believes he is a good president even with the cu losing money and the sexual harasmnet and taking a car, to him those things don't matter. Bea thinks she's being judged unfairly. They're both nuts.
And where's Crystal? People say she's suspended again. She's a relative of Wigg's. Would he let any other employee get suspended twice and still keep there job?
She's not suspended she's having surgery. One of the call center people has been saying she's suspended but he's stupid to make up stories like that. You can't believe a lot of the people that work at South Pas.
Bea decided to give us a Xmas party on Dec 9. Their going to supply the food and its taking place at the main office. Weird because Bea doesn't like a lot of people there at one time. Guess since we don't get raises they think a party will make it all good.

What is pathetic is that Charles Wiggington is probably one of the worst presidents the cu industry has ever saw but the board keeps him. He broke policy, law and pushed P1 into debt but the useless ghetto board hasnt done a thing which is like saying "we don't care about the credit union, the members, or the employees." They should go ahead an have a party because its probably the last one you'll see.
A lot of employees and vendors knew Charles Wiggington was TROUBLE when that idiot board decided that he would be the best guy to follow Mr. Harris. He stunk when he was the vp of operations and he acted like a fool, playing around never doing his work, and always making sexual comments, but even so, Diedra Harris Brooks decided he was the best man for the job. What a joke!! Now 3 years later she keeps him around like she's the organ grinder and he's her monkey. 2 years in a row ending in the negative. Great job Diedra!! Great job Charles!! Did they have the all staff meeting in April at Almansor Ct? Remember how Bea got up and told everyone how the company was doing great and business was up and then she got that Auto Alliance to talk about all the business they were bringing in? The report for October shows business is the negative again. So Bea, hows it that we're doing good? Maybe this time you can explain instead of making some statement that has no backing.

I'm surprised they're still open. October's report which isn't all that clear shows they probably sold some of their loans but for some reason they remain in the negative. 2 years in a row in the negative makes Wiggington look more incompetent. Sexual harassment aside he's really proven to be the worst for P1.
Bea and Wigg couldn't grow weeds. They're selling stuff not bringing in business. That's why Wigg can be at work for 5 hours a day and Bea can spend a lot of time at her home and in Valencia, because she ain't doing shit.
Why are they spending on legal?
Maybe high legal is because they don't know what they're doing and have to contact their attorneys more than they used to or maybe they have lawsuits filed against them.
The legal fees are partly because they are being sued by some employees including the ex-manager of the Burbank branch. Bea got rid of her because supposedly they didn't need her but a few weeks later brought in another person to take her place. Bea says that if you want to get rid of someone, tell them their job is being eliminated and lay them off. Then wait 4 weeks and bring someone in to replace them. Its backstabbing and if the branch manager wins, it will prove it was illegal. All those consultant fees on the monthlky are not from hiring people like Loren Lilestran but a big amount is to pay consultants to come in and correct the phone and network problems because Randy doesn't know how to do that kind of work even though that's why Bea hired him.
The former branch nmanager isn't the only one suing , several former employees are filing lawsuits. Also, Esmeralda calls the attorneys all the time because she doesn't know what she is doing.
Doesn't she know that everytime she calls, they bill the credit union or doesn't she care?
Esmeralda calls because she's not educated and she's ignorant about HR. Rodger taught her what she knows and he was a major screw up that's why they didn't give him HR back when Wiggington took it from Bea.
The board calls the attorneys too because they don't understand the financials. Each time P1 talks to the attorneys they get charges $350+ per hour.
tIf you guys read the reports you notice they are paying a lot to consultants but for what? Loren Lilestran hasn't been around the office and its not for consultants that help make business better because their not making new business. The consultants they are paying are techies. Have you noticed all their computer and phone problems? Thats what they are paying for because Randy McBride doesn't know anything about IT even though he is the manager of IT. EAch time they have to get the phone company to come and fix problems its a min $150 an hour. Thanks to Wiggington, Bea, and even Rodger and Esmeralda they are having to pay for lawyers and consultants something that not happen if Mr Harris was still president. For a company that not making a profit, they sure have to spend a lot fixing their own problems.

2 years with no profit. They closed 2009 with huge losses. Then they start the new year and you think they might just make it but with everything Bea's done, they are now more than $1/2 million in the hole. No profit is no profit.
They've got a lot more problems then those monthlys show. What they show the public is not even accurate.
You have to think they don't show how much are their delinquencies and what is the amount of their charge-offs. They don't state outright that they're selling off loans and we don't know if they are reporting Saeid or Randy's salaries and where. Everything is about hiding the facts and they probably are in a lot more trouble than what October's report shows.

Party? They had food and we got another gift certificate like the one on Thanksgiving but a lot of employees from other branches didn't go. Its too expensive to attend some bs party. The cost of gas and time and then we have to work the next day is more than most of us can afford. No raises for 2 years and some of us working without benefits to attend some party is not worth it. A Ralphs card is nice but it doesn't pay the bills or gas or forget everything Bea and Wigg have done.
They had the party but it was last night and a lot of employees didn't show up because they had to work today. Lame day to have it on. They did give out gift cards like they did on Thanksgiving but these were for $100. I guess with so many people fired and 2 branches closed they can afford the gift card. Plus Wigg wants us to forget all the bad times he and Bea caused us.

Maybe she just needs another year to prove she is good but by then the cu will probably be closed down like Redlands and Valencia.

Everyone is afraid P1 will close next year. Wigg and Bea aren't doing anything. We are losing so many accounts in Santa Clarita and even in South Pasadena and the only office that is doing really well is Los Angelesbut they're more checking cashing office then anything else.

No one thought P1 would make a profit in 2010. They have the same players making decisions that made P1 fail for all of 2009. Why would
anyone think that these people would have the ability to turn a profit in 2010?
Wiggington is a failure and he's trouble, that's a fact.
Beatrice Walker failed since she got to P1 just like she did at Universal Studios CU, AIRCO, and other cu's.
Rodger may have been part of P1 for yearsf but he got fired from Superior Industries and never contributed to P1 to make it a better place. In fact he violated policy when he was the head of HR.
Add the whole board made up of uneducated folk led by Diedra Harris Brooks who doesn't understand financials, covered up illegal acts, and had a bad reputation when she worked at the postal service.
Do any of them sound like they got what it takes to make P1 succeed?
What are they going to do in January, fake the numbers again like they did before and transfer money from their loan loss again, to net income?

Charles should have been tried in court but Diedra covered for him.
Why haven't they made money from the sale of loans? Their unloading but not enough to make a difference plus if you look at October's report what is the amt of their delinquencies? Its not clear when you read what they reported.
pThat's a good question. Whatever they get from the sales of loans is being offset by other expenses, probably debts but we don't know what amount of their delinquencies and charge-offs and I don't think their reporting all their expenses.

NCUA Passes Financial Literacy Requirement For CU Directors

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The NCUA Board this morning approved a new financial literacy rule for the nation's 75,000 volunteer credit union directors requiring for the first time that each director obtain a minimum ability to read a credit union income statement and balance sheet.
The new requirement comes amid growing credit union losses and increasing sophistication of credit union finances. The required level of financial literacy will depend on the complexity of the credit union.
Directors will be given six months to receive training in financial literacy with NCUA providing both Internet-based and as many as 50 regional training sessions in the coming months.
"I think we can all agree that volunteers are the heart and soul of the credit union community," said NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz, who emphasized that directors should have a minimum of competence in basic finance and an ability to read and understand their credit union's balance sheet. She said NCUA is not planning hardcore efforts to police the new requirements, at first. "It's not going to be a game of gotcha; examiners are not going to go around quizzing volunteers," she added.
The new rules also include additional provisions on a director's fiduciary responsibility to his or her credit union and prohibits a credit union from indemnifying a director in cases of gross negligence. A credit union may, however, provide legal assistance to a director being sued if the credit union officers believe the director acted in good faith. These new provisions were prompted by several recent conversions to mutual savings bank when members sought to sue their directors over the squandering credit union resources during expensive conversion fights.
The new rules also includes new requirements for voting on credit union conversions to banks, stepping up requirements for independent third-party oversight of conversion votes; barring credit union employees form helping members fill out secret ballots; and preventing officers from seeing and using incomplete vote counts, something that occurred during several controversial conversion to bank ballots.
The new rule will also require in case of conversions to banks that credit unions provide members with an option of paying out a credit union's capital in a liquidating dividend; that it obtain and present to members a pre-conversion valuation by an independent third party; and that final member votes to convert to banks receive the affirmative vote of at least 20% of all members. It also requires that credit unions disclose during the conversion process what role, if any, current officers and directors will play once the conversion to bank is completed, and any compensation they may earn as a result.
Bea Walker must have hit her head again. In September she got pissed with the Valencia mgr and sent Judith Barajas the assistant to Burbank to be the asst branch mgr. Now she's sending Judith to Santa Clarita and bringing Dana Gilliam to Burbank to be the asst branch mgr. What the h---???? Judith's doing a good job so why send her to Santa Clarita plus she lives closer to Burbank. Dana is a trouble maker and she lives in Lancaster close to Santa Clarita. Huh????? Dana is so pissed she said Bea knows she has a new baby and moving her to Burbank is going to make her drive farther to work. Did Dana really think Bea cares about her or her baby? Last week she said she's had it and is going to start tlooking for a new job. Good luck, cause I wouldn't hire Dana. And Theresa is coming back and Sylvia is pissed. Just another Bea Walker move.

P1 doesn't need an AVP for Burbank and Van Nuys. The only reason people know Sylvia don't like Theresa is because Sylvia can't keep her big mouth shut. Back in May she told Theresa in front of employees and members that she should get a job somewhere else. She also got Rodger to suspend Theresa for a few days but Theresa didn't come back from suspension because she went on a leave of absence and Sylvia had a fit. I thought the skin of her face was going to melt off. In Sept Sylvia became buddies with Judith and Dana when she went to work at Valencia and Bea used the 3 of them to try and get dirt on the branch mgr. Now that the mgr's gone so Bea doesn't have to pretend she likes Sylvia, Dana or Judith. Bea knows that Dana is going to have to drive far from Lancaster to get to work in Burbank. She knows that Judith is going to have to drive far from her home in San Fernando to get to Santa Clarita and I don't know what's happening with Sylvia because latesly she's complaining that Bea wants a lot from her. Bea Walker knows exactly what to do when she wants people to leave.
Bea turns people against each other. She sucks at business, but she's good at trouble. She's like her twin Charles.
Bea has the been the worst THING to hit P1 besides Charles. The 2 should go back to New Jeresey and Indiana (Annanapolis).

This is interesting because all the way back in 2007, Wiggington said that the Board doesn't understand financials and based on their failures it looks like he was right. If the law is enforced this group of losers led by Diedra Harris Brooks should find themselves out on the street and not able to damage any more credit unions like what they did to P1.
How is the NCUA Board going to enforce the new financial literacy rule for volunteer Board of Directors? Priority 1's board doesn't have the minimum ability to read any credit union income statement or balance sheet that's one reason they are always having to call the attorneys for advice.
I don't see how the NCUA is going to make sure directors know their stuff. Sure they'll give the directors 6 months to train in financial literacy and the NCUA can provide internet-based and regional traning but how will they make sure the volunteers don't cheat on tests? (no offense but I would have a camera on Diedra and her crew during all tests). For years, Wiggington said the directors are not smart and he's right, because they kept him as president. If the NCUA plans to police some credit unions they should begin with those that are failing but that have the most complaints filed against them, like Priority 1. Directors at Priority 1 are required to have good credit but the fact is, some of them no longer have good credit and some with bad credit have been kept on, which is a violation of law. This group of made up of big cheaters and they'll find a way of breaking the fules because that's just who they are under Diedra.
Well it amazes me that after months and months, the board is still invisble and it doesn't look like they want to do anything to help P1 or the employees. I just can't believe the ncua or dfi haven't done much or anything.
The board is made of mostly ex-postal workers except for that big moron Saffold who had to deliver mail so he wouldn't get laid-off. Diedra was in postal retail but she was a low level manager. The rest of them are stupid except maybe Irving whose out number. Gathers should be put out to pasture, Hale, Thomas and the rest of them are as dumb as door knobs so how could any of them help the credit union?
