FAILURE = FAILURE
It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone whose kept abreast of Priority One Credit Union’s financial performance in 2010 ended at a negative -$500,000. Evidently, the losses may be more than what President Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. can bare to deal with because recently he exclaimed, "That's last year and this is this year!" Evidently, he is neither prolific nor a wonderful orator. Nonetheless, the President is trying to deter attention from the massive losses that have occurred each year since 2008 and which were all caused by his gross ineptitude as President.
And though he is partially correct that this is a new year and thus, the credit union begins with a clean slate, the pragmatist in us considers no profit to be no profit and indicative of failure. Sadly, no matter how much the President tries to spin the facts, failure is failure and can't be construed to be anything else.

According to its December 2010 Monthly Income Statement, Priority One generates positive income in the amount of $85,358. Though clearly a positive, it proved insufficient to offset the amount of monthly losses occurring during earlier months in 2010. What's more, the credit union would have ended 2010 in the negative even without having to pay the NCUA assessment required under the Stabilization Act.
The $85,358 was not due to a resurgence in business. The credit union's Monthly Income Statements confirm account closures increased during the months of October and November 2010 while loan funding decreased. The positive influx of money was the result of the following:
- Closure of the Redlands and Valencia branches which eliminated more than $10,000 a month formerly paid to rent each location.
- Branch closures also eliminated the costs of paying utilities and maintenance for each location.
- The credit union also laid-off employees at those branches, thus reducing the amount spent by the credit union on salaries and benefits.
- The credit union reduced salary and benefit payments in 2010 when they converted several full-time employees to part-time status.
- Marketing and Business Development budgets were also dramatically reduced.
President Wiggington has transformed Priority One into a credit union whose survival is dependent upon divesting resources and almost addictively, reducing spending. In the past, Training and Education Manager, Robert West, has said that "Loans are the business of any credit union." Surprisingly, he is correct. On the other hand, President Wiggington understands that loan development is critical to generating profit he just lacks all understanding of how to create business amongst new and existent members and how to retain relations with the member sector. Since January 1, 2007, the date Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. began his appointment to President, Priority One become a smaller, less competitive credit union.
Recently, President Wiggington boasted that the credit union opened a large number of new accounts. What he didn't say is that a sector of the accounts were opened with the minimum required $5 deposit and free-checking accounts were opened with no monetary deposit. He also includes accounts "approved" to be opened but where no deposit has been made.

Neither the President or AVP, Rodger Smock, or COO, Beatrice Walker, possess the talent, business savvy or imagination needed to implement strategical planning that actually achieves its intended purpose.
Months ago, COO, Beatrice Walker boasted during a meeting with Branch Managers and AVP's that she could bring in more business than the entire business development team, combined She has yet to prove that her statement is true. We'd suggest, President put her in the field so she can starting bringin in the fabulous amounts of new business she says she is capable of clinching.
A PREDICTABLE START
We recently decided to look at Priority One's reported financials for the months of November and December 2010. During our review, our attention was drawn to the immense amount the credit union spent on litigation. Prior to January 1, 2007, the date Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. began serving as President, Priority One annual expenditure on "legal" approximated $19,000 to $22,000. However, starting in late 2009, spending increased sharply. For the entire year of 2010, Priority One reported a total of $90.000 spent on litigation. Since Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. was appointed, the amount more than quadrupled. The $90,000 cannot be attributed litigation of the lawsuit filed by the former Burbank Branch Manager. So why has spending on legal quadrupled?
The credit union's spending on consultants is nothing shore of astronomical. The President and his COO are desperately seeking solutions to offset the effects of their blundering business decisions but no amount of consultants can put a stop to the President's and COO's abuses. Though the President often blames the national economy for the cycle of losses impacting the credit union but he never mentions the effect his imprudent decisions have had upon business, the immense amounts spent annually on consultants, and litigation. President Wiggington is either ignorant about how spending impacts the credit union's bottom line or he's lying.
We've also noted that the credit union is spending more and more money on temporary personal. According to their December 2010 report, $43,755.00 were spent on temporary staff. What this indicates that his cost-cutting efforts have, as we've reported in prior posts, replaced full-time staff with part-time staff who are not recipients of benefits. President Wiggington's so-called solutions are designed to impact employees and ensure his salary and benefits remain intact and unaffected.
RENEWING HIS CONTRACT

THEY MADE ME DO IT!
Avoiding to allude to his history of failures, last November President Wiggington admitted that he was "ordered" by the NCUA to close the Redlands and Valencia branches. What he fails to state is why the NCUA would have allegedly ordered the closure of the Redlands and Valencia branches. We don't believe he was ordered to close the two branches. He may have been told that he needed to reduce spending and possibly close a branch or branches. Being lazy and looking for quick fixes, he decided to close the Redlands and Valencia branches. In July 2009, COO, Beatrice Walker, disclosed that she intended on closing the Burbank, Redlands and Valencia branches, sometime in the near future. Subsequently, his latest excuse is another of his stories which are intended to help him escape accountability and portray himself as the victim.
The NCUA informed the President that net capital had declined to 6.06% and that if fell to 6%, the credit union would be taken-over by them. We suggest President Wiggington consider hiring a writer who can at least make-up excuses that appear credible and that possess some semblance of intelligence.

On the backside of the newsletter, is a notice inviting "qualified" candidates in "good-standing" to submit their self-nominations to vie for a seat on either the Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee. :

We of course have no faith in the corrupt Board and in particular, it's heinous Director, Diedra Harris-Brooks. It was after all, Mrs. Harris-Brooks with her accomplice, the President, who has interfered in recent, past elections, destroying the integrity of what had been a fair and impartial system. Their motivation was simply to ensure that the Board's and Supervisors, the majority of who are Black, remain in place. The current herd of Directors and Supervisors have proven to be the ultimate "yes" men to the Board Chair's every whim.
During the past two elections, Mrs. Harris-Brooks and President Wiggington both dishonestly and uncleverly mailed ballots to only members who have checking accounts and thus excluding the much larger sector of members who only have savings accounts.
THE PRESIDENT MAKES ANOTHER TURN ABOUT FACE
On January 2007, President Wiggington ordered increased focus on developing new business amongst Select Employer Groups ("SEGs") and decreased efforts made to acquire new business from employees of the United States Postal Service (USPS). His reason was that he wanted to change the credit union's demographics by converting the credit union's membership from blue-collar workers to white collar workers, business owners and professionals. He would never achieve his purpose.
In September 2010, the President and COO, Beatrice Walker, ordered immediate cessation of SEG development. She informed the business development team that the credit union could not afford to exert efforts trying to develop businesses amongst SEG's admitting that employees of SEG's did not seem interested in the products and services offered by the credit union. She also urged increased efforts to develop new business amongst employees of the United States Postal Service who once made up more than 70% of the credit union's member base.
Recently, incompetent AVP, Rodger Smock, try to diminish the importance of employees of the USPS, denying that they represent the majority of the credit union's membership. Did the chronically dull AVP forget that Priority One was founded by postal carriers or that it wasn't until the 1990's when the credit union expanded its scope of eligible members, to include families of USPS employees?
Though the credit union references approximately 200 SEG's on records, a large percentage of these are businesses that no longer exist as a result of sales and closures. In 2010, AVP, Rodger Smock was informed that the list of SEG's should be amended and all no longer existent SEG's removed. He refused and said, "Well, it [the SEG list] makes us look good." Yes, Mr. Smock, an inaccurate list of SEG's makes the credit union look good- in your eyes only. Contrary to what the misinformed Mr. Smock thinks, misrepresentation never makes any business look good.
The President's efforts to replace employees of the USPS with employees of SEG's demonstrates his disdain for postal employees. It also reveals that he has absolutely no concept of what sectors contribute most to the development of new business. There is a serious disconnect when it comes to what President Wiggington knows about the credit union's membership.

TRYING TO REBUILD BRIDGES
President Wiggington has been expending a lot of time lately, trying to rebuild bridges he obliterated. If you visit the credit union's website, you'll find the following message:
UNIVERSAL AUTO LEASING AND SALES
Following COO, Beatrice Walker’s arrival to Priority One on June 1, 2009, she and the President decided to end the credit union’s relationship with Universal Auto Leasing and Sales, who according to the President, were failing to bring in the amount of business needed by the credit union. He also told some staff members, that the auto broker was not providing acceptable service. The President evidently didn't realize that Priority One has become the subject of increasing complaints citing unacceptable member service. The President and the COO ordered the Loan Department staff to only refer members who were in search of an automobile, to Auto Alliance, the broker introduced to the credit union by Ms. Walker.
Despite the long relationship between the credit union and Universal Auto Leasing and Sales, in early 2010, Ms. Walker assigned a desk within the Loan Department in South Pasadena, where a representative would sit during business hours and meet with members who expressed an interest in buying a car.
Auto Alliance, unlike Universal Auto Leasing and Sales, charges $75 to search for an automobile. The fee serves to further undermine the credit union industry's motto of "people helping people." At Priority One, the motto is "People helping themselves."
WHOLESALE INVESTMENTS, INC.
In 2008, Priority One, through one of its business development representatives, entered into a business relationship with Wholesale Investments, a broker located in the city of Van Nuys, California.
The owner, who was enthusiastic to develop a relationship with Priority One and paid for all marketing costs used to promote his company and asked if he could place one of his representative at Priority One's main branch in South Pasadena, California. At the time, hew as told the credit union could not provide a desk because it would create a conflict with it's relationship with their other auto broker, Universal Auto Leasing and Sales. Furthermore and according to President Wiggington, there was no physical space to setup a desk. That was a lie.

Incensed, the owner accused the credit union of being disingenuous and pointed out that his company paid for all marketing materials promoting his brokerage. He also complained because he had been denied a request to assign one of his employees within the credit union’s main office. Angered he demanded the name of a person he could complain to at the credit union and was immediately provided with the name and cellular and telephone numbers of Senior Vice President, Rodger Smock. Several calls failed to garner a response from the Senior Vice President.
As reported here previously, Auto Alliance has to date, failed to produce the level of business Ms. Walker said would be attained. The recent efforts to re-establish working relationships suggest that the President has possibly taken an introspective look at his huge mistake in severing relations with Universal Auto Leasing and Sales and Wholesale Investments, Inc.

Talking about Rodger Smock? He's the biggest Fairy I know.
That's a good question. No, the $5 plus some million P1 lost in 2009 didn't just go away, though it would appear management would like people to believe that when 2010 began, it was a new, clean fresh start. Well, in a way it was. When the new year began, they started their financial anew, but the $5 million remains on the book for 2009. The losses in 2010 have to be added to 2009 because they have now lost about $6 million in 2 years. I really don't get Wiggington or that Board. They're like an ostrich which hides its head in the ground. Just because you're hiding doesn't mean the world around you doesn't exist. Same with the losses, just because you closed the books doesn't mean they started January 2011 in the Black. No matter how you look at it, they have big problems. Plus they ruined the credit union reputation and that's not going to change even if they end this year with 2cents profit.
Rodger is much to blame as Wigg and Bea. If it wasn't for him, Wigg and Bea wouldn't gotten away making up lies to get people fired. He let Bea make up stories that made that manager quit and he helped Wigg get rid of a lot of managers and regular employees. Guess it was okay for him to have an affair with Henry and it was okay for him to have those pool parties at his house with employees swimming naked amd drinkng in his pool. If one of them had drowned or got drunk and crashed going home, the cu could have been sued. You think the hr manager would know better but then again he covered up Wiggs sexual harassment because he was in the room a lot of times when Wigg said let me whip your ass. They all shoudl be fired for breaking policy and the law and for ruing P1.
Roger Smock have use the credit union for his own personal cash cow for years and nothing was ever done. Today roger is a waste of money he's so fucking lost due to all the lies and deceit that he's cause so many of the current and ex-employees. Everytime he comes out of his office i just get sick at my stomach when i think of all my co-workers he's fired .
Wigg and Bea are idiots. I remember when they told us to stop using Universal Auto and start only using Auto Alliance. A lot of us kept referring members to Universal because we know Mike for years and because he doesn't charge $75 to go and look for a car. Plus Bea said Auto Alliance were her friends and who wants to help anyone Bea calls friend. And somethings wrong with Wigg because he still goes around opening his big mouth talking about his kids, his car, his wife like any body cares. He's made the cu a horrible place to work but he acts like business is great and like we should all be greateful. Didn't he notice we lost 2 branches and so many good employees? He shoud keep his big mouth shut. I am so tired of his crap and always some lame excuse like he did, she did it, they did it, but its never about him. And I forgot but Bea did used to stand in front of the elevator while they were painting the wall and say ITS SO BEAUTIFUL. It isn't so beautiful its just a frickin wall. She's rank and she seems so proud of her sneakiness and having everyone afraid of losing their job. She should take her 99 cent store wardrobe and go ruin some other place and please take useless Randy Mcbride and Diedra that buck tooth rat who thinks its okay to be a con at a credit union. Anyone of us would have been fired for the same crap these people pull.
Why did Rodger go to Burbank to give an employee review? Aren't Esmeralda and Robert West HR? So why is Rodger who is NOT HR doing reviewd? I thought he was SPECIAL PROJECTS for Wiggington. And why did they make Joseph branch manager and skip over Virginia who knows more than him and who has been doing Gema's job for years? And I just found out Amber left on sick leave after she got sick probably becuase she lives in Santa Clarita and Bea took her away from the Santa Clarita branch and made her druve all the way to South Pasadena to work as a teller. Bea did the same thing with Dana and Judith. She knows they don't make much money and gas is expensive but it her way of making them quit.
And Bauer does not have an interest in P1 or the blog and they rated the credit union only 2 stars. Guess things are really bad, huh Wigg and Bea?

P1 is about putting the wrong people in the wrong positions.
West is over hr but he dosn't have any experience in hr.
Esmeralda has no education in hr but she's making important decisions that involve law that she's not qualified to do.
Randy Mcbride has a degree in sociology but not IT still Bea hired him to manage IT.
Bea put Joseph over loans but he
was not qualified to be a loan manager. He doesn't even know how to develop loans. He so unqualifed that a year ago he got testy when we gold him he couldn't qualify a member who had a 153% debt ratio. He's also not qualified to be a branch manager but they gave it to him anyway. And he wasn't qualified to be the call center manager but Bea gave him that too until it just got taken away.
Bea came here after getting fired from Universal cu and after the mess at Honda where her employee committed fraud. Still Diedra hired her and made her a COO.

Rodger got fired from hr at Superior Industies but he came to priority where he violated every rule and policy and helped get employees fired with lies. You can blame all of this on the board and supervisor committee.

John you forgot to mention they haven't offered financial planning since last year after Geoff left. I remember when Wigg said the credit union was going to offer financial planning and he had posters and flyers printed up. The first person he hired was Mr. Davidson who was a board member. He told Diedra that if they hired him Mr. Davidson couldn't be on the board and that he could fire him down the road. Diedra went along with it and with the help of lazy old Lynnette Fortson, they fired Mr. Davidson 2 months later and left him without a job. Then they brought in Geoff and he brought in business but they didn't appreciate him and he finally asked CUSO to please transfer him out of P1. He was smart because he knew as long as Wigg was president things will get worse and they did because after he left, they lost 2 branches.
Management is lucky Bauer was only rating the credit union because if they were rating Wigg, Bea, West, Rodger, Esmeralda, Yvonne, Sylvia, Lynnette, or Joseph they would have got a big fat "0". Red Lobster? Try Wigg's Crab Shack.

He is a liar and no offense to some of the employees, but he knew how to manipulate them if they complained. He was there when Wiggington was sexually harassing employee and he was there when Wiggington talked about sex. He may not know what sex with women is but he should know what sexual harassment is. If he had an affair with that boy and he was the HR manager, then why should he investigate any harassment complaint against any manager? That front he put up like he's your friend and like he's respectful is a lie because Rodger is one the the biggest low lifes you will ever meet. He fits right in with the ghetto President and the hillbilly COO. Anybody that reads this blog can ever imagine just how horrible these people are unless they work with them and their diplomas don't mean squat because these people are some of the stupist, laziest, most uneducated, bad manner, no class officers you will ever have the misfortune of meeting.
You forgot that before Wigg Patti Loiacano was the assistant loan manager then Wigg knocked her down to assistant because he said he didn't liker her attitude. Then after he became president he made her lending manager and in a few months made her an AVP over loans and compliance but Bea didn't like the move so she investigated and told Charles Patti couldn't be over loans and compliance because it was illegal. So he made Patti over compliance even though she had no experience in compliance. Then they put Theresa the BSA Specialist help her but Bea didn't like Theresa so she had her laid off and hired a temp BSA Specalist which is probably one reason why their temp employee budget is so high. Its like a jojo the way these people go back and forth promoting, demoting, laying-off, replacing.

I got my review and it was really good but then I was told the company can't afford to give me a raise. You can afford to promote Yvonne and you get paid $100,000+ but you can't reward the people who are doing the work. How is that right?
This blog is so right on! Wiggington and Bea don't know what the hell their doing. Today they posted that Robert West the Training and Education manager and HR manager is now reporting to Rodger Smock. Last year Bea took HR away from Rodger and cut his hours. Then they send out a notice that Rodger is going to be helping Wiggington with projects. Bea then takes over HR until Sept when Wigg took it away from her and gave it to Robert West who
has no experience in HR. Now its back in Rodger hands but he shouldn't have anything to do with HR because he has broken more policy than anyone else at the cu and that "clerk" Esmeralda doesn't know anything abuot HR either. Everytime you call her she doesn't have the answer to your questions or she has to always ask someone or she repeats the same thing over and over like she's reading from a script. Bea's a plain OLD backstabber. She's too much of a coward to face anyone so she talks about people behind there back and gets the morons to do her dirty work. She created the new rules on confidentiality but the other day one of the managers was talking about what employees Bea said are suing P1. If broke her own rules then she should get fired just like any body else who did the same thing. Isn't it time that fat Esmeralda and kiss butt West start getting her termination papers ready?

Remember when Teresa suggested management take a temp salary cut? Bea was pissed and so was Rodger and a few days later Bea moved her desk to the storage area behind the tellers and then they told her they were eliminating her job, except they hired a temp to take her place less than 1 month later.
Wigg, Bea, and Saeid make sure the cuts they make don't touch them at all and keep employees poor. Bea, Wigg, Saeid get big salaries they don't earn, medical benefits, 401k contributions, long lunches, they can come and go as they please. And in the first 7 months after Randy was hired he took about 6 weeks vacation even though he is ignorant at anything IT.
No doubt, business sucks but Wiggington made sure when he took over that he and whoever he liked would get paid outrageous salries and full health benefits. But even the useless president couldn't have done it without the help of the board, particulary stupid Diedra Harris Brooks or his side kick Rodger Smock. They all looked out for themselves because P1 is nothing more than a place where they can fatten their wallets. Same for Walker, Saeid, and Randy. Think about it, when business nose dived and when employees lost their medical benefits, did Bea, Wigg, or Saeid lose anything?
I was in a meeting with Wigg back in 2007 and he was leaning back in his chair and said, "I'm gonna kick back and let the avp's do the work. They have goals they better meet and if they don't they're out!" Except for Cavazos, no avp was ever fired by Wigg for failing to make their goals. The only reason Cavazos got fired is because Wigg told him he wasn't bringing in business and that HR got complaints that Cavazos was doing work for his second job at Century 21 at South Pasadena. They had a big argument and Smock sat quiet as a mouse and his face turned red. Cavazos stormed out and said he was going on a leave of absence but when he tried to come back, Wiggington had already met with Diedra and the attorney and they got rid of him.
Rodger is a joke. For years he got complaints that Georgina was commiting fraud and getting her co-workers to clock her in and that she was taking 3-4 forty minute breaks a day but he liked her so she never got suspended of fired. Same for Gema who didn't put a hold on a check Georgina deposited from another bank. That check bounced and they got in trouble with Wigg but Rodger and Aaron made up a story to cover for the 2 women and they kept their jobs. Sure its fraud, but they keep who they want to keep. Rodger helped Wigg get rid of Rios, Freed and Centeno and he knew that the cu used false info to get them and a lot of other employees out. He knew what they did to the last manager at Valencia and he knew what Bea's doing to Dana, Judith, and Amber. But he doesn't care because he's a coward and a liar.
Rodger is the biggest policy breaker at P1 but dtill has a job with a big salary and benefts to keep that pretty little house up on the hill for him and his BF.
Don't you wonder what kind of company could produce such bad management? Wigg was bad but he's there because the board. He gave Sylvia her title. He brought Bea who been horrible. Bea promoted Yvonne who not as dumb as Bea but just as useless. Then Bea brought Randy and he's totally useless. And brought Saeid in and got him $100,000 a year. And all of them are doing nothing but making the place worse. You just wonder how that could be.
What you really have to wonder about is how the same people who screwed up Priority 1 supposed to fix it? So far and all the money on programs and those HIGH salaries and the problems are worse. You'd thinik that it would have occurred to someone that "hey these people don't know what they're doing- let's get them out before they bury us." Of course not cause that would take actual bring power that the board don't have.
It doesn't matter what Wigg or Walker say if you want to see where P1 is going then you need to look at their FPR on the ncua.gov page. It shows where they've been and from that you can figure out where they're going. I got the figures from the ncua's web site for Dec 2008 to December 2010.
Their asset size at the end of Oct-Nov-Dec 2008 was $172,119,164. Deduct $10 million they owe on the loan they still owe. So they were really worth $162,119,164.
Now look at their asset size in December 2010. Its $154,486,639, actually $144,486,639 because you have to take off $10 million. That means they lost over $28 million from December 2008 to December 2010. But there's more. You have to remember that in 2008, Wiggington borrowed $20 million which means that on Dec 2008 they were worth
$172,119,164 - $20,000,000 = $152,119,164. When Mr. Harris left on 12/31/06, they were worth $172 million so by the end of Dec 2008 they had already lost about $20 million!!!!! If Wigg or Walker are saying business is up then all you have to do is go to the ncua.gov page and guess what, the record shows they're going down, down, down!!!!

Does anyone know how to remove a cu board? Its just incredible that no member has stepped up to the plate. You would think that if people care about their bank or cu that they would find out what they can do particularly because cu's are member-owned which means members have a big say-so in how any cu is run.

After seeing those figures I don't think they'll make it either. They are just losing year after year. But do people have to write to the dfi or ncua or do you need a petition and if so how many signatures are required?
What I don't get is why the dfi didn't do anything when Wigg stopped posting the monthly financials or why they didn't do aything when Bea spent all that mney on redecorating. I now P1 is still in business but if rcords show they are losing money every month, why didn't the dfi replace the board?
Maybe the dfi is having to face state cut-backs and maybe they are short staffed. They probably have too many more important problems to deal with. Still all that keeps them from being proactive, doesn't it?
Their doing so good they pay back expenses 1 a month and they hold back on spending money on giveaways. We're still not getting raises and some of us are still working part-time. Whoever said the place is hell is right. At least Bea was able to get those leaky pipes fixed at her house and all that other work. Nice to know some people don't have to worry.

What about Yvonne VP of something or nothing. She walks around like she is the CEO. She has the bad attitude. She was fired from her old job because of that attitude but at Priority One she got promoted. Her staff cant even take a piss without her permission.

In 2 years she went from collections manager to VP but delinquencies are still high at least 2 of her staff are the worst (hint: tall woman and fat man). But no matter what title she has Yvonne is still the same old ghetto
pushy user. When people were getting fired and laid-off she got Bea to hire her close friend to work as a teller at the Los Angeles branch and she still there.
Yvonne worked Bea like an IPhone and used to meet everyday with Bea on Marengo down by the park to talk about people at the branch. Weren't their offices good enough for a meeting? They used to take 2 hour lunches where you could hear them talking about Wigg and everyone at the office who Yvonne didn't like including Gema Pleitez.
Bea did everything Yvonne told her because Bea acts on emotion plus she's as smart as a box of crackers. When they opened up the Call Center Bea gave her the row of seats for her staff but Yvonne told her girls, "Uh, uh, no way we sitting there" and they took all the nice roomy cubicles that were supposed to go to the Call Center staff and gave that little space to the call center people. Yvonne is now closer to Saeid because she knows he will get her what Bea can't like the VP promotion. Bea now hangs out with Gema instead of Yvonne. Too bad becuase Yvonne and Bea sure made a nice couple.
Are you sure Yvonne got fired from her old job? Wigg hired her because he wanted an inhouse collection dept to save money and bring more collections. So how's that working Wigg? When Yvonne came to P1 she brought Sandra, Alex and Naeyra. Sandra and Naeyra are professional but Alex is a bitch and horrible to members she talks to. That guy Jerry is just disgusting. I know Yvonne has not always treated Naeyra or Crystal nicely. They're both hard workers but Yvonne used to ride Crystal for everything she did. Last year they were in a meeting with Esmeralda and Yvonne told Crystal everything she thought was wrong with her and Crystal told her "I hate you." Pretty much sums up how most people feel about Yvonne. Last
year Yvonne freaked when some of the call center people had their radios on real low and she yelled and said "shut that music it disturbs me." Yvonne iis disturbed alright but she can't blame the music for that. She also yelled at Crystal for having her radio playing tool loud even though you could barely hear it. Guess Yvonne has dog hearing. And she didn't just tell Bea that Gema was lazy (that was the truth though) she complained about Tsui, Ileana, Wigg, Joseph, and she took Bea's side against Smock and a few times she even tried to give orders to IT. I miss seeing her and Bea together. I remember when Yvonne would go down the front steps of the branch and Bea would go down the side steps and they would meet in "secret" in the parking lot and at first drive off together and later when everyone started wondering about their
relationship they started driving separate cars. Guess they didn't want anyone to notice their
"outtings".
You realize that there would be no Wigg, no Bea, not Yvonne and a lot of the others if nice Mr. Harris had fired Wigg a long time ago? I don't blame Mr Harris for the losses or all the things that embarassment Wigg has done because its all Wigg and Bea and their lap dogs but the door was opened by mistake by Mr Harris.
Bea took the loan dept away from Patti L when they made Patti AVP over compliance. Bea said it was illegal for Patti to have loans and compliance but Saeid is CFO and he has authority over accounting, credit resolutions, VISA and real estate loan dept. How is that possible and is it legal?
She and Wigg do it because the board won't get in their way and its like employees are going to say anything, they're too scared to lose their jobs!
It's time to clean house. Get rid of the board and senior management. Wigg used to explain that the Supervisory committee had the power to remove the board. Yeah right. Like they have the guts. That actually is good idea because that's what the DFI supposedly says they need to investigate. Two years ago I was in a a meeting with Wigg and a few other employees and he said the board were ignorant about financials (no duh). He even said "they're not very smart." The board is supposed to make decisions that help the credit union and the board answer to members not vice-versa. What strange at P1 is that the board is not doing their job so the supervisory committee should have removed those members that are not
carrying out their duties. My guess is the boad and supervisory committee are politically tied and not looking out for the best interest of members.

I think Joseph was given the branch manager job so Bea could save his job. He isn't cutting it in loans because we're just not getting enough business. She's also the one who changed the way we did business. Before she came members could go to any office to apply and get approved. Now they apply and the request is sent to South Pasadena for approval. The member has to make an appointment to get the loan funded. Its not good speedy service. Some of us gave up days to help the company save money and to save are jobs but the business isn't there. I like Jospeh but he doesn't know how to make loans grow. He's good at the pep talks and good at helping members but he just doesn't have the knowledge to make business grow. Maybe its lack of experience. I don't know why Bea gave him the position because its not doing anything good for the credit union. None of her promotions bring new business or make things better plus she only helps people she likes even if there not qualifed.
So, Joseph doesn't know loans but he's the loan manager and Gema knows member services but she's lazy and makes Virginia do all her work. Bea doesn't know operations but she's COO and Rodger Smock got fired from HR at Superior Industries but he's over HR. Robert West has no training in HR but he's over HR. And Wiggingtton doesn't know how to act like a President but he's a President. See a pattern?

When I worked the reception desk Gema would say to call her because she was expecting delivery of something she ordered from the internet. Everyone knew she was spending the day shopping on the internet and this was something she did 2 to 3 times a week. Wiggington sometimes tell her what employees were using the internet for personal business and he would tell her to warn them or write them up. She never got written up
for using it for personal business. And Wiggington is the worst one. I walked into his office many times and there he was looking a car dealer web pages and one time I caught him reading this blog. Another time he was looking at pictues of women on some dating websit. These peopls are the worst but they get promoted, big salaries and full benefits.

You walk into South Pasadena and you don't see a receptionsist and sometimes you only see one teller. I was told they send tellers to the call center. I know a lot of people who have closed their accounts and my c0-workers talk about how employees look miserable and they don't give good service. Tori left after Bea cut the bd team's hours. Bea hurt a lot of employees financially and Rodger, told employees they could use their PTO to make up for the money they lost when their hours got cut. He also told them to apply for unemployment and said they could collect their part-time pay plus unemployment. This was coming from the supposed HR expert who didn't know that unemployment deducted whatever they earned from P1 from unemployment so some of them were collecting less than $200every 2 weeks. Wigg and Bea never lost their pay or benefits and for a few weeks all they lost was getting the cu to match their contributions into 401k. The real reason Bea cut the bd teams hours had nothing to do with saving money. She opened her big mouth and said she thought the team was leaking information and she said they weren't worth their salaries. Is she worth her salary? Two months later Bea realizes that by cutting the team, the credit union wasn't getting new business so they put the team back on 40 hours a week in December though their still non-exempt. No one ever explains on this blog how the board let her waste so much money and make so many mistakes and still pays her six figures. Her stupid priority pay cost over $50,000 to set up and it crashed. They never made a return on her skip a pay and her call center sucks just like everything else she does. This woman is bad news and she is as horrible as Wiggington. I wouldn't wish her on my enemies!!! And notice you hardly ever see her anymore. And she and Wigg don't like each other and whats up with him? Is he sick because he looks horrible.

The one in Santa Clarita was a witness in a complaint filed against Bea and she quit. Right after she quit, Bea gave the team back their 40 hours a week and their benefits but they are still not exempt. Stupid when it comes to BD. Two of the ones that are still there have families and mortgages. The third had cancer a few years ago and has to be checked every few months. Even with all of this Bea took their hours, their pay and their medical. Bea is not at P1 to help anyone win with money because she proved she can leave people in the poor house. Look what she did with Judith and Dana!!! Bea is for Bea which means she's there to collect her $100,000 plus salary.

She went after her, made her life miserable, tried to knock her down to assistant manager and was going to cut her pay to under $25,000 but that girl was smart and found new work and now works for a place that's not being destroyed by Bea. And what is wrong with Wigg? He looks like a cat that drank gasoline? Guess all those lies are catching up to Wicked-ington.
Last year Bea and Rodger met with some of the bd team meet at the Hyatt up the street from the Valencia branch and told them the company wasn't doing good and the whole team was going to have to cut back driving. They also said the team was going to have to start clocking in before going int he field. Problem is some of them have appointments way before any branch opens which was stupid of Bea, Wigg and Miss Smock. 3 weeks later something crawled up Bea's butt and she cut the team's hours from 40 to 20 and took away their medical benefits. In December they put the team back on 40 hours after a member wrote a letter complaining to the company about them cutting back 1 of the reps hours. Bea, Wigg and Smock tried to go after the rep but the letter got to one of the members of the board and she stepped in. First they gave the bd rep back his hours and then they found out that they had to give all the team back their hours because they could be accused of discrimination.
Bea knew the bed reps and all the other cu employees couldn't live on part-time pay. Did you see her, Saeid, Randy, or Wigg offer to get part-time pay? Her reason was to drive out all the employees and get in new ones but that didn't work out the way she wanted. She knew 2 of the bd reps had mortgages to pay and she knew that 1 of them had cancer a few years back and like all cancer patients needed to get checked every so often. But Bea didn't care because what was important to Bea was screwing over anyone she thought was not on her side. The rep for Santa Clarita quit because she couldn't survive on part time pay plus she was the bread winner in her family. Another rept who is still there has 4 kids but for the last 2 years, Sylvia Perez has been harassing him. She got Rodger to help her a few week ago because Sylvia is trying to get him out plus Bea and Wigg have said they don't like him. That rep has written lots of letters to Smock in the past about Sylvia but Smock is as useless as a pimple and will never do anything that makes management look bad. You are our first priorty? People helping people? We are your financial fitness center? We'll help you win with money? If you believe there BS then Bea looks like Megan Fox and Wigg looks like Shemar Moore.

And why did they have to make Yvonne VP of Support Services? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to set up a suggestion box at each branch? And if management needs employees to help them find ways to save and make money then why are Saeid, Wiggington, and Bea getting over $100,000 each a year? Fire the 3 of them because they're not cutting it. Priority has managed to hang on but their shrinking month by month and even playing with the numbers hasn't helped. They have become a credit union that makes money from cutting because they don’t know how to get new business.

When they hired Bea it was because she was some sort of expert that was going to cut costs and show the company how to opereate by spending less. Guess that didn't happen, huh? Bea promised she was going to bring in products that were going to bring in BIG money quick and help get the cu back on its feet. That didn't happen either. Yvonne was supposed to improve collections and bringing the dept in-house would save LOTS of money. That hasn't happend because their delinquencies are too high. Saeid was hired to take Manny's place, but its the accounting supervisor who does investments. So why is he getting paid over $100,000 a year? They waste money and they are the reason the cu is in big trouble. Its not the employees and its not the economy its Wigg, Bea and the rest of them.
Postal workers and other members, this is the year to get Diedra out and save P1. We can do it! We got to do it!

No doubt. If you go to the ncua you also see that their dq's are high which makes you wonder why they would promote the manager of collections twice in a year if she's not getting the job done. It seems like more wasting of money from a place that has done a lot of drastic things to cut spending but is failing to do any one thing that would bring back business. I don't see how they can do this for another year but they might.
So what is it exactly that Wigg does? He sits in his office except when he's leaves for his long lunches, but was is it thaqt he's doing because business is going down. And you don't see Bea that much anymore. Her last great idea was the visa gift card. What happened to that pay day loan she brought in last year? There was all that hype about how it was going to captrue members that rely on pay day loans. What turned those members off was that P1 got into their accounts and found out they used pay day loans. A lot of people aren't proud about using them. Then they sent out that letter showing how pay day loan companies steal your money. That didn't mean a damn thing to people who are desperate. And then P1 thought they'd get away charging $58 a month for the service whether or not the member used it. Where's the savings? Bea has always tried to pull a fast one and that stupid board believed everything she had to say because their a bunch of back woods hicks.

Today Rodger posted a notice that Wigg had a stroke last Wednesday and that his left leg is paralyzed. He's at Kaiser Sunset. Rodger says he's fine but how can you be fine when you're leg is paralyzed and your still in the hospital?
I'm not surprised. He and Bea can't even stand each other any more. Rodger is going to be running the show while Wiggs away. Bea must be having a fit. She took HR from Smock and then Wigg took it from her. She always had her eye on the President seat but she isn't even getting a chance to cover while Wigg is out. You know she must be pissed!!
I don't know if I believe he had a stroke. Smock says Wigg checked himself in to the hospital because he had fluid in his lungs. How did he know he had fluid in his lungs? Doesn't that require tests before you know you have fluid in the lungs? Then somehow that turned into a small stroke. Uh, huh? Sorry but Smock and Wigg and the whole heard are a bunch of liars. I'd have to see the doctor's report before I'd believe anything Smock had to say. And if Wigg is sick you wonder how that's related to all the horrible things he did to hurt and try to destroy people.
So how much did Bea have to do with it? She's a pain in his ass and the way she's ruined the environment has been driving him crazy. Then again he brought her to P1 for all the wrong reasons.

How about Bea's big credit union make-over? That really made a big difference didn't it? She should have spent the money on getting her face sanded, an eye lift, botty implants, lipo and a major nose job. It would have brought in as much new business as did her crappy new carpeting and cheap looking paint job. And you can't blame that on Manny. Plus Manny was a good boss. I loved working for him. Since he left morale is horrible thanks to scarecrow Walker and Wigg, the same guy who spent all that money hiring Bea Walker. Sorry, but get your facts straight. And if he made such great decisions, then why did Rodger taking Wigg's place and not Bea? The guy at Kaiser is the one who screwed over the credit union and that doesn't include the lies he made up about so many people and the major backstabbing. Today Rodger posted a notice that Wigg had a stroke last Wednesday and that his left leg is paralyzed. He's at Kaiser Sunset. Rodger says he's fine but how can you be fine when you're leg is paralyzed and your still in the hospital?

If Manny chose it then why did Wiggington take full credit? And if Manny went to the board to get approval to close "some" branches why didn't they close the branches when he was there? And why did Wiggington say that Bea and Saeid decided to close Valencia and Redlands if Manny was the one who made the decision? Anyway Manny left in Dec 2009 and the branches closed in Oct/Nov 2010. Everything Wiggington said contradicts what you say Manny did. Are we now not supposed to believe when Wiggington said he was going to fire certain people and they all eventually got fired. And what about her telling the board that remodeling and putting in a call center would bring in new business? Look at the reports for 2009 and 2010, they show loss after loss after loss. It says a lot about P1's management when not one person says anything good about them. No one has said they feel bad for Wiggington. He must have done a lot of terrible things to a lot of people.
How long will wigg be out of work? If his leg is really paralyzed he's going to probably need a brace because a can won't hold any body who can't use their leg. And was his stroke caused by stress? Does he have high blood pressure? I saw him a month ago and he looked terrible particularly his eyes. Its shocking to see just how that place has fallen apart and what its done to people.
Good thing is that Charles being away won't have any effect on the business. When he's there he doesn't do anything anyway.

I don't get how Smock is supposed to be temp CEO when he stinks at HR. He knew what Wigg did to so many people and he knew how Bea backstabbed employees. At P1 thry run with whatever they think might work but they don't know what they're doing that's why since Harris left they ended 2 years in the negative. It'll be interesting to see when Wiggington gets back and if he did have a stroke. In the meantime, there's a struggle going on. Bea had her plans to take over, that's why she set up her clique with Joseph and Yvonne. Did anyone notice how Joseph and Yvonne weren't close to Wiggington or Smock? She got Diedra to back her up thats why she got to waste all that money remodeling and setting up all those products that failed. She is just like Wiggington because from 2007 to 2009 he got his way with the board and they let him do almost anything he wanted including BUYING the $600,000 phone system and the new email program. He bought that check card embosser thats been sitting unused in the safe and he started so much crap that never went anywhere. Bea was pushing Smock far away but it all back fired with Suzanne filed that complaint against Bea. That stopped Bea and gave Wigg the chance he needed to get Smock back in and start pushing Bea away. Now that Yvonne's pulled away from Bea all she has Joseph and Gema. If you ask employees at every branch they'll all tell you how much they hate Bea because the woman has made working at P1 horrible.
Bea got hired by the board for 4 reasons. She was supposed to cut expenses and she was supposed to bring in new products and add fees that would bring in money. She was also supposed to fix the mess Wiggington made. The board didn’t do there homework and check her out because if they had they would have found out what her reputation was in the industry plus maybe they would have found out why she got fired from Universal CU. But the board listened to Diedra Harris Brooks who has to be the stupidest chairperson in the industry. Instead of doing what she promised, Bea started building alliances. She got hired 6/2009 and by 09/2009 she had already got in good with Diedra and her buddy girl, Yvonne Boutte. She also started to complain that Wiggington talked too much, was too loud and didn’t have good ideas and she got the board to tell him to step back and let her do her thing. He was so pissed and the only person he had on his side was Rodger Smock, the world’s worst HR director. Be made up a clique with Joseph and Yvonne and they took over credit resolutions, loan department and the call center. She brought in Saeid and took over accounting. She pushed Wiggington in the corner and then went after his only friend, Rodger. She started by complaining that she didn’t like that everyone went to Rodger for everything. She didn’t like that he had access to employee files and she thought he was lazy and a big waste of money. She was right on the last two.
She told the board she had to remodel South Pasadena to bring in new business and they let her. So she spent over $40,000 on new carpeting and she bought all new vertical blinds, remodeled her office, put new floor in the employee lounge and bought umbrellas for the patio. She remodeled her office and Wiggington’s and she spent $5000 of CU money on a new laptop. Business didn’t improve- it got worst. She wanted to get close to Suzanna and offered her a post in South Pasadena but something happened and she turned against Suzanna. A lot of us wonder what happened because Bea started to tell Yvonne, Joseph and a lot of employees that she no longer like Suzanna. When Suzanna went out on medical leave, Bea started visiting Valencia and she and Sylvia Perez started getting the Valencia staff on their side. Soon Dana and Judith started to complain about Suzanna. Bea promised Judith the assistant branch manager job at Burbank and she promised Dana the assistant branch manager job at Valencia. In fact, Dana got back from maternity leave 6 weeks early because she was anxious to start her new job but Suzanne quit which changed all of Bea’s plans. Bea never really liked Judith or Dana and so she transferred Judith to Santa Clarita and Dana to Burbank and said that the long drive would make them quit and that way P1 wouldn’t have to pay unemployment. Maybe if Bea had done the job she was paid to do and spent less time destroying the working environment, maybe P1 wouldn’t be in the trouble it is now. But Bea couldn’t done this without the help of people like Yvonne and Sylvia and greedy staff like Dana and Judith who thought backstabbing was the way to move up the ladder at this loser CU.

If you get to know him he'll tell you his black BMW is worth $100,000 and his house is worth $1 million. I looked up his home value on the internet and his house is worth less than $300,000 plus if you see it you know its not worth anywhere near $1 million. As for his cars, there all old and that BMW is probably worth $3000 at most! He's just a big liar.

Members are also owners and they have a right to choose how the credit union should be run. They can elect new board members and supervisory committee people and they can get rid of useless Diedra Harris Brooks. They can also make Wiggington explain why he chose to run Priority into the ground. They have power, they just have to use it!!!
PS: 2 of the people who want to run are from the usps and they're sick of what Diedra has done. A message to postal carriers, Diedra was a retail manager at the post office. She does not have any ties to the carriers or non-management and she has acted on the board like a lot of managers- not looking out for the interest of the workers and members. She's always had that "I'm shit" and you're not. She's right, she is shit. She protected Wiggington, she hired Bea Walker, she covered up sexual harassment, she let Wiggington get away with taking a member's car and she let a lot of good employees get harassed. Plus she didn't do anything to stop all the losses in 2009 and 2010! And she approved that $20 million loan Wiggington borrowed. Its time to kick that old witch to the curb.
I wonder what Diedra has on Wiggington that she protects him? What does she get out of keeping him and why hasn't the state investigated the board?

I understand employees can't complain but what about the members? Don't they care about the credit union how its being run?
