Don’t Look Down, Part 2

VERTIGO

"There's been rumors that people are
going to lose their jobs now that I'm
President. Let me tell you, no one will ever
lose their job while I'm President. You can take
my word on that."

Charles R. Wiggington, Sr., President/CEO, January 4, 2007

We don't think we'd be exaggerating if we described Priority One Credit Union President, Charles R. Wiggington, Sr.'s lies and exaggerations as anything other than dizzying.

Since being appointed President on January 1, 2007, the President has concocted tall tales
most often intended to rationalize his failures, dupe employees, cover-up his despicable behaviors and used to embellish talent and abilities he doesn't possess. His stories are woven around his favorite subjects- his above-average intellect, his sexual prowess, his keen comprehension of banking financials, his collection of old, used BMW's, and his $1 million estate nestled quietly in a down trodden section of Echo Park, California.

Last year, the President introduced his long-time acquaintance, Beatrice Walker, to the Board of Directors who hired her to serve as the credit union's first COO. Though Ms. Walker's greatest accomplishment thus far has been implementing brutal cut-backs on spending, she like the President, has made certain that the reductions in spending to not affect executive salaries or benefits. What's more, as she reduces spending, she's entered into a literal spending spree using credit union monies to fund what are becoming a series of poorly performing enterprises.

This past February, Ms. Walker proclaimed Priority One generated real profit during the month of January. This was the first time profit had been gotten in almost one-year. What's more, the profit was earned during what traditionally is, one of the slowest months of the year. However, at the end of March it was revealed that Ms. Walker and the President transferred monies from one of the credit union's general ledgers and reported these as profit. The so-called profit was nothing more than a highly unethical and not-so-clever act of manipulating financial reporting.

What the President and Ms. Walker have created is a card of cards whose collapsed is quickly approaching, in the not-too-distant future.

THIS POST

This post resumes our reporting about COO, Beatrice Walker, who was hired on June 1, 2009, to reduce spending and introduce new streams of income needed to offset losses incurred by President Wiggington's deficient business decisions. Since her arrival, she has single-handedly succeeded in absorbing a great portion of President Wiggington's business decision authority. Considering the failure and lukewarm performance of the products and services she's introduced. it seems that stripping a part of the President's power is probably her only key accomplishment. Congratulations, Ms. Walker.

TRICKS ARE FOR KIDS

During the past week, Priority One mailed a form letter to members reminding them that they could can call the credit union to enroll in Courtesy Pay- the credit union's overdraft protection program. The letter contains numerous grammatical errors and omissions of information, reminding us of the carelessness which characterizes so many of President's and COO's enterprises. At the bottom of the letter, the credit union proudly displayed the following message:

"Voted BEST Credit Union - Los Angeles News"

We'd learned that the message was published in an effort to present the credit union in a positive light. We contacted the Daily News' offices and were told that the message is found in a 2008 edition of their newspaper. We also discovered that the statement only alluded to the Valencia branch and not the main office in South Pasadena, or the Los Angeles, Burbank and Van Nuys. branches. This effort to pull another fast one. We've learned that the ruse was concocted by COO, Beatrice Walker, and AVP, Rodger Smock. Evidently, the two have no problem with dispensing misleading, deceptive and inaccurate information. Realistically, Priority One leadership of Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. is not the "BEST" at anything.

Another visit to the credit union's "Career" page revealed that Priority One continues to insist they are a "progressive $175 million" credit union. There statement is shown, below:

"Priority One Credit Union, A progressive $175 M credit union, is an equal opportunity employer. We offer competitive salary and benefits packages within a friendly team-oriented environment. We provide career growth opportunities for those that demonstrate the potential and have accepted the challenge of responsibility."

Yes, Priority One is a $175 million credit union in the same way it's the "BEST" credit union in the world.

Like the manipulation of financial reporting during the month of January, the President, the COO, and AVP, Rodger Smock, thought they could pull a reference from the Daily News that was written only about the Valencia branch back in 2008, and parade it about to deceitfully try and convince members and employees that the entire organization had been rated as the "Best" credit union on earth. If these three could expend as much energy in creating strategies that actually work, Priority One might actually be experiencing a reversal of fortune.

On a side note. The COO was so vexed by our last post that she couldn't contain her anger and while standing in the Credit Resolutions Department and in the presence of collection and call center representatives, complained to her confidants, Yvonne Boutte and Joseph Garcia, that if necessary, "I will fire every employee" that is leaking confidential information" on to the blog. Again, she said this while standing in the Credit Resolutions Department and in the presence of collection and call center representatives.

CUTTING BACK
Through
VICTIMIZATION

The latest casualty to suffer the wrath of the President and COO is the South Pasadena Receptionist who the President swore was leaking information to this blog. His belief is of course wrong, if not delusional. The reception sat at a lone desk, located at the entrance of the branch in which is referred to as the "reception area." She had no physical access to confidential information. Despite the logistical issues with the President's accusations, he insisted and knew for a fact, that she was the source of information that was finding its way to this blog.

The receptionist now joins several other employees that both the President and COO, Beatrice Walker, believed were leaking information to this blog. These include the credit union's ONLY Marketing Specialist, the IT Supervisor, an AVP, and a senior accountant, the Teller Supervisor of the Los Angeles branch.

The President and COO are slaves to their own undisciplined imaginations, never relying on evidence of the things they hold to be but instead, choosing to cleave to whatever concoctions they dream up.

And Priority One has a policy governing confidentiality, neither the President or COO can seem to bridle their tongues. Ms. Walker is openly expressing her frustration over this blog and in response is targeting scapegoats who are blamed for leaks they never committed. What's more, we believe that her persecution and victimization of employees is just a ploy to draw attention away from her amassing strategical failures which have done nothing to curtail the credit union's vast monthly losses.

Not so coincidentally, the people laid-off during the month of July are the same people she and the President previously labeled, "the blogger", "bloggers" and "confederates of the bloggers."

LIKE SALT ON A SLUG

At 3 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010, Beatrice Walker, saunters across the Loan Department, her deep-set eyes framed by sagging, uneven eyelids and trying to discreety hide the fact she is watching every employee in the department. She suddenly stops and momentarily glances over at the receptionist who is pre-occupied, busily answering the excessively heavy phone lines.

Wearing a plain, heavily worn black polyester dress and a necklace of faux pearls, she fails to notice she is being observed by several employees of the Loan and Teller Departments.
Some employees would later comment that her worn dress was actually an improvement on the clothes she usually wore to work.

Many employees would later state that Ms. Walker's effort to improve her attire was a reaction to the comments posted by readers on this blog. She has often been the brunt of jokes and criticisms for her often shoddy wardrobe and poorly applied make-up.

After standing for several seconds at the reception desk, Ms. Walker turns, a crooked smile sweeping over her face and walks back to her office. As she exits the Loan Department, a Loan Processor exclaims, "She looks like the Cheshire cat.:"

Later, the same day, at 5 p.m., Human Resources clerk, Esmeralda Sandoval, calls the receptionist and asks that she go to the office of Senior Vice President, Rodger Smock. A few minutes later, she is met by Miss Sandoval at the door leading into Mr. Smock's office. As she enters, Mr. Smocks asks that she seat. She is then informed by the aged Senior Vice President that she is being laid-off after only three-years of employment because the credit union is being forced to reduce spending due to declining business. While speaking, Mr. Smock's face flushes bright red and his voice quivers, his eyes darting back and forth uncomfortably. He also discloses that the lay-off has been ordered by COO, Beatrice Walker, and CFO, Saeid Raad.

The credit union terminated a receptionist who was paid about $14.00 per hour but chose to retain President Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. who is paid in excess of $150,000 per year and has been the number one contributor to Priority One's decline including a loss of more than $12 million in net assets since January 1, 2007. Wouldn't terminating the President have a far more beneficial fiscal impact upon the credit union than terminating a receptionist?

MORE REDUCTIONS

The credit union has sent out a notice to employees, announcing they are immediately stopping all contributions paid by Priority One 401K plans. The contributions matched those contributions paid by employees into their personal 401K plans. So what happened to the credit union's declaration contained in its mission statement, asserting, they possess the ability to "help members and employees win with money"?

PART-TIME STAFF

The greatest flaw with Beatrice Walker's plots is not her motivations but the fact that the real reasons behind her actions eventually become public.

For the past year, Ms. Walker has ordered a reduction of hours for many formerly, full-time employees and with the reduction of hours, cessation of their benefits. According to the sly Ms. Walker, this is one means to reduce spending. We think another more effective means might be to refrain from giving into her indulgences but that's a subject for another post.

However, Ms. Walker is again violating state law. She has reduced hours for some employees and eliminated their benefits but she is requiring that they work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Isn't that full-time employment? By stripping away benefits, the credit union is substantially reducing the amount of their overhead, albeit it completely illegal. And again, the reductions being introduced by Ms. Walker are coming at a high cost to employees. So, is Priority One truly a financial fitness center?

SKEWERING
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

In our previous post, we described Beatrice Walker's efforts to reduce and eventually, eliminate the Business Development team.

The efforts to eliminate the team was actually begun by Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. who in his mind, believes the team is unnecessary. With consideration to his continual failure to introduce strategies that produce real profit, we'd have to conclude the President Wiggington knows nothing about marketing, or product development. .

We previously described how Ms. Walker converted the entire team from exempt status to non-exempt status. With the help of AVP, Rodger Smock, they've issued a notice informing the team that the credit union will no longer pay over-time. Since our last publication, the COO and AVP have issued another notice, this time advising the business development team that if they work in excess of 40 hours per week, the excess hours will be added to their accrual of personal time off ("PTO"). The directive is illegal under state law.

Not to be out done, Ms. Walker has increased her stranglehold on the business development team and two weeks ago, reduced the hours they're required to work each week, from 40 to 20. According to AVP, Rodger Smock, the reason hours were reduced to 20 hours per week is to avoid laying off any team members. Mr. Smock is being both preposterous and inane.

With the reduction of hours, the credit union has announced each team member's medical benefits will be cut-off.

Is this another example of how Priority One fulfills its promise as a financial fitness center and proves it can help employees, "win with money"?

Ms. Walker like the President is another overpaid and talentless hack whose expensive spending habits have failed to create anything tangible that suggests growth and development. Like the President, Ms. Walker talks about what she will accomplish and yet, we're kept waiting for the moment anything she does reaps real profit.

Thus far she's terminated numerous employees, some who she concluded were unnecessary to the credit union and others who she imagined were "out-to--get her." She's bludgeoned the amount of working hours for the business development team and stripped them of their benefits and openly disparaged their abilities, yet she is a failure as a strategist. What's more, she orchestrated the hiring of her friend, Saeid Raad at a salary of more than $100,000 per year and she's hired her other friend, Randy McBride. She's also spent more than $100,000 remodeling the South Pasadena and Burbank branches and another $70,000 plus building what is proving to be a failed call center. Her decisions are not only saturated with contradictions, she is failing to realize any of her promises that she could bring in new streams of income.

Even some members of the management team are fearing their future at the credit union. Months ago she described her plans to drive AVP, Rodger Smock, into retirement, describing him as "useless" and "overpaid." She also expressed a desire to remove Training and Education Manager, Robert West, who she has said is "unnecessary." Recently, Human Resources "clerk" and credit union decoy, Esmeralda Sandoval, stated, "Maybe I'm next." Considering that Ms. Walker has criticized Ms. Sandoval's weight and speech and the fact that she no college degree or formal education in anything related to Human Resources, maybe it's time she were sent on her way to greener pastures.

Despite her overt failures, Beatrice Walker is tenacious and recently ordered new cubicles to be installed in the Call Center, Credit Resolutions and Member Services departments. Rarely, do we get an opportunity to watch the rampant and irresponsible abuse of spending like that taking place at Priority One Credit Union.

SANDPAPER

As reported here, previously, this past January 2010, Ms. Walker and the President transferred money from one of the credit union's general ledgers and reported the transferred funds as profit. The amount fraudulently credited as profit was $230,238,99.

Contrary to what Ms. Walker insisted, there was no profit because there was little business in what is traditionally one of the slowest months of the year. After January, here is the amount of monthly net income reported by credit union for the months of February 2010 through June 2010:

Net Income

February 2010
$71,510.68

March 2010
$8254.66

April 2010
-85,602.44

May 2010
$18,454.00

June 201
-$590,099

The credit union's return into the negative was caused in part by their potion of the assessment payable to the NCUA. Of the -$590,099, $192,709 was the amount paid to the NCUA. Irrelevant of the amount paid, they would sustained losses in the amount of
-$397,390.00Additionally, net capital declined to 6.6%. Wasn't net capital at 10% on January 1, 2007, the date Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. began serving as President? Are these factors an example of how Priority One serves as a Financial Fitness Center?

Furthermore, during May's 2010 annual meeting, Board Chair Diedra Harris-Brooks could not desist her long, drawn out flattery of Beatrice Walker and her allegedly wonderful achievements which Mrs. Harris-Brooks said had made Priority One a "better and stronger" credit union and confidently concluding, "We believe we finally have the right management team in place."

RACISM VS MISUNDERSTANDING

In September 2006, the Board of Directors under it's Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks decided Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. would be the most qualified candidate to serve as successor to retiring President, William E. Harris. At the time, Directors O. Glen Saffold, Thomas Gathers and Janice Irving all said they selected Mr. Wiggington because what the credit union needed most was a "Black President." As the years have proven, skin color is never a substitute for competency.

Though we are all guilty of telling jokes about people and cultures, one can't deny that this type of humor disparages its subjects.

In business it is often a violation of policy to use defamatory epitaphs while at work. This constitutes hate speech and only serves to segregate, stereotype and mock people and it is counter-productive to the development of employee morale.

Recently, Beatrice Walker provided wonderful insight into her character, her sensibilities and most of all, her racist perspective. On May 5, 2015, the credit union allowed its employees to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. For years, the credit union allows employees to celebrate holidays as a means by which to foster cohesiveness.

While employees were treated to food in the employee patio and lounge room, Ms. Walker turned to her confidant, Yvonne Boutte, and complained that she couldn't comprehend the significance of Cinco de Mayo and referred to all Mexican employees of the credit union as "members of the Mexican Mafia."

We fully understand that she doesn't comprehend the significance of Cinco de Mayo, though she could have Googled it on her computer. However, her statement about employees of Mexican descent or Mexican, is racist and wholly inappropriate. At a time, when the polarizing Ms. Walker should be striving to create cohesiveness between employees and management, she has chosen to express feelings born out of her personal ignorance and frustration. Her comment was both derogatory and inflammatory.

Realistically, it is highly improbable that member of the Mexican Mafia would be working for the low wages for a credit union that offers no career development or future. Ms. Walker, irrelevant of her MBA from the University La Verne, is highly ignorant, lacking all comprehension of the effects her venomous verbiage has upon the work environment. Her offensive statement aside, Ms. Walker has proven she is more than a little stupid.

On July 12th, the following comment was posted by a person some believe was Ms. Walker:

Anonymous said...

Last time I checked Mark was Marketing Director I checked Mark was Marketing Director -- but what has he done for the credit union lately. I hope is ass is fired next week when he returns...take his fake degree and go build a car in Mexico.

NEUROSIS

At approximately 5 p.m. on July 21, 2010, the Marketing Specialist was asked by Esmeralda Sandoval to accompany her into AVP, Rodger Smock's office. Once inside, Ms. Sandoval informed the Marketing Specialist that he was being laid-off because of a need to reduce spending. It had also been determined that the credit union doesn't require a marketing department. Really?

Mr. Smock who usually presides over all terminations and lay-offs was not present, probably have contracted a bout of the "cowardlies." The Marketing Specialist, unlike Rodger Smock, actually possesses a degree in marketing studies.

Historically, President Wiggington has always shown his disdain for marketing. In 2008, he berated, abused and finally laid-off the long time Marketing Director, whose executed promotional designs had made the credit union the recipient of numerous awards.

However, the ouster of the Marketing Specialist was plotted by AVP, Rodger Smock. In 2009, when Mr. Smock's authority over marketing was reassigned to the Marketing Specialist, the aged and bitter Mr. Smock began harassing the specialist. On one occasion, he called the specialist to his office and berated him. Despite being more than 70 years old and the specialist being 24 years old, Mr. Smock stopped speaking to his replacement.

Though we've not often alluded to Mr. Smock's subversive tactics, he has often been a divisive and even destructive influence in the credit union, hiding behind a disingenuous smile.  Mr. Smock who has over the past 2 years volunteered the names of people he believes are the blogger, informed the neurotic Ms. Walker that the Marketing Specialist was leaking information to this blog, even though the specialist had no access to confidential information.

Over the past 8 weeks, Ms. Walker has often visited his computer, perusing files in search of anything that might prove he reads the blog while at work. While he worked, he often would see her reflection on his monitor as she tried to be inconspicuous and spied upon what he was doing.

Finally and with the help of Rodger Smock, Ms. Walker ordered the specialist's termination. If Ms. Walker is correct and the specialist is "the leak", then that should bring an utter end to this blog.

MORE DISCRIMINATION

Ms. Walker isn't the only officer at the credit union whose made racist comments. In 2007, President Wiggington entered into a vicious campaign to ruin the reputation of a highly accomplished business development representative. With the help of his AVP, Sylvia Perez; AVP, Liz Campos; and Burbank Branch Manager, Linda Nisely, the President subject the business development representative to a campaign of continuous harassment, disparaging her work, her character, and her abilities. At the time and in reference to the business development representative, the President told several employees and at least one officer that  "She's a Jew, they don't like Blacks." How Mel Gibson of the Black President.

 CONTROL FREAK

Despite her amassing failures and racist demeanor, Ms. Walker has resumed her efforts paving her way towards her future presidency over Priority One Credit Union.

On July 26, 2010, Ms. Walker issued a memorandum informing employees that she was altering the current corporate structure and that as part of that change, AVP, Rodger Smock, will no longer oversee Human Resources but will instead be assisting the President with "special projects". She omitted inclusion of the President's name.  She also announced that she will be overseeing Human Resources, the Training Department and marketing.

With the increasing amount of complaints lodged against Ms. Walker, it seems more than a little inappropriate and even a conflict of interest that she now oversee Human Resources. She's proven quite incapable of being objective or honest and has perpetrated the dynamic of lies which mar the entire executive sector. We don't believe she'll ever objectively investigate complaints though like the President and Board Chair, we do believe she'll crush all evidence proving violations of policies and laws.

Her growing array of failed products and her refusal to perform studies needed to gauge their potential success in the credit union's marketplaces make her the worst possible candidate to oversee marketing. What's more, she has proven she lacks the ability to train anyone much less oversee staff development.

The only prudent aspect to her latest plan/plot is that she stripped the useless and dishonest, Rodger Smock, of his authority over Human Resources, though she is hardly a viable alternative to the incompetent Mr. Smock.

Ms. Walker also informed employees that Saeid Raad, her friend and CFO, will oversee internal audits, Credit Resolutions, Compliance, and Real Estate Lending. We have one question. What does Mr. Raad know about Compliance?

The change clearly shows that Ms. Walker's confidant, Yvonne Boutte, will now be supervised by Mr. Raad. So is the changed impelled by the fact that under Mrs. Boutte, delinquencies have increased?

We've also learned that Joseph Garcia has been stripped of his authority over the Real Estate Department because he just couldn't comprehend the procedures and principles governing mortgage loan funding. That hardly comes as a surprise since prior to be named Loan Manager of the Real Estate Loan Department, he had absolutely no experience in anything related to real estate. Despite his complete lack of experience, in January 2007, Ms. Walker found it prudent and even beneficial, to appoint Mr. Garcia Manager of the Real Estate Loan Department.

On a side note, he remains the Supervisor of the Call Center and under his management, member complaints have increased substantially. He is also remains the Consumer Loan Manager and consumer loan production continues in decline. He also remain the Interim Branch Manager of the Burbank office and production at that location remains in decline.

The COO's decision to place Mr. Raad above audits, the Account Department, and the Compliance Department, may be a conflict of interest under state law.  As usual, Ms. Walker's decisions are taking the credit union on a downward roller coaster ride into oblivion.

HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A......

In February, Ms. Walker disclosed plans to possibly close the Valencia, Redlands and Burbank branches sometime over the next 2 years. The Valencia branch was actually targeted for closure to take place this past April, but Ms. Walker relented when she tried to enter into a "friendship" with that office's very attractive Branch Manager.

However, as with much of what Ms. Walker touches, the friendship she craved, fell apart and to her great consternation.

Since their falling out, Ms. Walker has placed the Valencia branch back on the chopping block. Apparently, Ms. Walker is as sensitive and volatile as is President Wiggington.

Economically, closing the Valencia, Redlands and Burbank branches would result in huge monthly savings to the credit union who pays to lease each location. Doesn't it seem strange that while William E. Harris was President that the credit union was able to afford the leases on each location?

Ms. Walker also recently contacted the administrator of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center and suggested creating a space within the hospital where the credit union can open a branch and close its Burbank office. According to Ms. Walker, a location within the medical enter will meet the needs of many members who are also employed by Providence St. Joseph. Of course, this would also exclude the larger sector of members who are not employees of Providence St. Joseph.

Recently, Ms. Walker accompanied AVP, Sylvia Perez to the medical center to speak to administrators and later, to a location in the Santa Clarita Valley where to relocate the Valencia branch.

"If it's not in writing, it doesn't count."
Beatrice Walker, June 3, 2010

This wonderful bit of sagely advice was provided by Ms. Walker during one of her many management meetings. Ms. Walker adamantly believes verbal statements have no binding power. Her ignorance knows no bounds.

According to Ms. Walker verbal assurance and promises "don't count". Clearly, her integrity is unimportant to the incompetent COO. Ms. Walker probably believes that "ignorance is bliss" when in fact, "ignorance is just ignorance."

The changes she implemented to the business development team were all verbalized. She refused to document that employee hours were were being reduced from 40 to 20 hours per week. She refused to document that each team member was being stripped of their medical benefits. She also refused to document her directive that employees won't be paid for any overtime worked and will instead receive personal time hours.

Ms. Walker may believe her own lies but the fact is, she and AVP, Rodger Smock, verbalized the changes to every member of the team and irrelevant of whether or not the changes were documented, the fact is, they are subject to state laws. Ms. Walker is carelessly placing Priority One in a legally precarious position.

MAY'S/JUNE'S FINANCIALS
President Wiggington recently revealed he is in search of "mergers" because in his words, "we need more money." Does he know that mergers cost money to execute?

The proof of the President's methodologies and of the success of Ms. Walker's products and services are attested by by the financials.

Loans

May
$104,867,690

June
$105,073,938

Less Loan Allowance
Losses

May
-$2,212.300

June
-$2,600,000

Total Assets

May
$168, 812,152
June
$163,531,383

The actual amount of assets reported by the credit union for the month of June is $153,531,383. The amount of $10 million ("notes payable") which is the unpaid balance remaining on the $20 million loan borrowed in mid-2008 by the President. The actual amount of net assets is $143,531,383. What is clear is that Priority One is not a $175 million credit union as referenced on it's website.

Accounts Payables

May
$10,000,000

June
$10,000,000

Shares

May
$146,956,671

June
$142,102,119

This past July, the President disclosed the credit union is borrowing from its reserves though he failed to provide a reason why.

The President and COO's brutal cut-backs in spending, the introduction of new products and services, and the bludgeoning of business development have done nothing to reverse the many problems caused by the President and exacerbated by Ms. Walker.

The President is inept and useless but the COO is proving that she has no comprehension of financial development despite have earned an MBA while at the University of La Verne.

The credit union's Accounting Department was recently ordered by CFO, Saeid Raad, to withhold processing mileage reimbursements and if possible, only process these every 4 weeks. According to Ms. Walker, Mr. Raad is scrutinizing all reimbursement requests. We suggest he hurry up.

In spite of declining financials, Ms. Walker has chosen to increasings spending on superfluous enterprises and poorly planned products and services. There is another factor we've not addressed but why have annual legal expenses increased by 5 to 6 times more than was spent when William E. Harris served as President?

As a Postal Service employee and P1 member, I am saddened to learn that conditions have deteriorated to such a degree. I don't think I've seen it this bad in the Postal Service, and that's saying a lot.

I have taken out several loans in the past with Priority One. Thanks to great people like Hector and your staff, I have always been amazed at how quickly and smoothly the loan process could be. Hector made things happen.

It is obvious that these days are past. With such a toxic environment and unwise management decisions, it is clear that P1's stability is a big question mark. I will therefore be closing my account.

My best to the good people at P1 and I hope that management doesn't ruin too many more lives.

Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. and Board Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks, are the cause to Priority One Credit Union's rapid decline. The both have acted unethically and each has perpetrated egregious acts designed to cover-up violations of policies and state and federal laws and used to slander and terminate employees they believe are a threat to their tyrannical hold over the credit union.

Ms. Walker was hired to serve as the President and Board's personal "hatchet woman" but her plots have hardly been discreet and her brutal hacking has worsened the credit union's financial standing. Substituting dignity with malice; self-respect with scandal; and ethical conduct with manipulation, they have single-handedly and intentionally, propelled the credit union into an almost certain future.

Well, none of this should come as a surprise. You have a president with no authority but who still gets paid over $100,000 a year thanks to a board that doesn't know what its doing.

You have a COO, whose not smart enought to keep her opinions about Mexicans to herself. She was hired to save money, but her decorating and hiring practices proves she has no such ability. Since Wigg's wings have been cut-off, you can now put all of P1's problems on Beatrice Walker. Based on comments by readers there is something wrong with the way this woman does business. You want evidence, look at where P1 stands today.

The majority of us are mexicans and im sure Mrs. Walker did not mean it that way. I'd notice Mrs. Walker was in a very bad mood on that day.Unfortunately she cannot hide her feelings very well. In addition, on that day, her servant Yvonne was caring food to Mrs. Walker office and had lunch there with closed doors. I know Mrs. Walker likes to eat mexican food and she also likes to hang out with Mexicans a lot like Joseph Garcia, Johny, Gemma, Suzanna, Esmeralda, Marc and more. Remember when she joined us at David&busters to celebrate Joseph's birthday? She showed up to the party with suzanna and seemed very happy to be there celebrating
with Joseph and some of lending department staff. In
regards to racist comments why would she even hang out
with mexicans then? If there have been racism comments they should be reported to show that what she she had said is true "anyone can say anything" but unless is in writing there is no proof.
Yvonne is racist one she is the obvious one. Ask Yvonne
about Crystal and Suzanne and you will see how her

Law does more than merely look at an alleged racial comment which in this case would be Ms. Walker's statement that the "Mexicans" at the SPas office are members of the "Mexican Mafia", but also looks at how witnesses interpreted what she said. So, even if Bea Walker did not mean it as a racial slur, how did witnesses interpret her comment?

Anyway, the reason she hangs around with "Latinos" at Priority One is because most of the crew is made up of Latinos. Joseph is her "boy" and nothing more and she spends more time with Yvonne.

How many Whites work at South Pasadena? Diane, Patti, and Smock. You can actually be a racist and socialize with minorities at work, that a fact. If her racist slur was not racist then she is only a "hater" (to quote Mr West). As for Yvonne, she is conniving and two-faced but that's why she's able to work Bea like a pony at a kids birthday party.

"If it walks like racism, talkes like racism and in this case, smells like racism, then its probably racism."

And how about Wigg's comments on Jews and Whites?

Anonymous said...

p.s. She has also has said horrible things about Susanna after they're falling out, even making fun of her ethnically. That sounds like racism, doesn't it? Or is it only frustration on the part of Ms. Walker who couldn't get what she wanted?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous wrote "In
regards to racist comments why would she even hang out
with mexicans then? If there have been racism comments they should be reported to show that what she she had said is true "anyone can say anything" but unless is in writing there is no proof."

Actually, you're wrong. Witnessed statements are evidence and can be used as testimony to prove that someone's reputation was slandered or defamed. Evidence proving liable does not require that a statement had to be in documented form. In this case, a witnessed racial slur is evidence and does not require documentation to prove its validity. A court of law or government agency would accept a witnessed statement and make a determination based on the facts. Plus Federal law is quite specific when prohibiting racial epitaphs such as referring to "Mexicans" working at South Pasadena as members of the "Mexican Mafia." Sorry, but you just can't get around this one by circumventing law or invalidating the gravity of the statement by claiming it had to be in the form of a document.

As for her socializing while at work, Ms. Walker may AT TIMES, gravitate to Latinos at the credit union because they make up the majority of employees. You can actually be a racist and socialize with a group you "hate" that is neither unusual or impossible.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, you write "The majority of us are mexicans and im sure Mrs. Walker did not mean it that way. I'd notice Mrs. Walker was in a very bad mood on that day."

That's just absurd! She's the COO and too long in the tooth to forget that she's to conduct herself in a professional manner, irrelvant of what her problem was on the day she referred to the Mexican employees at P1 as members of the Mexican mafia. Would any of us be justified, just because we are in a bad mood, to say something racist against Asians, Blacks, or Whites. Please. That type of rationalization is about as stupid as Bea Walker's statement. Someone should file a complaint with the government and not HR since HR is now under her control. The woman should get her mouth sewn shut so that she can spare the world from listening to her ignorant comments.

This is the same type of excuse the board made when they said 50-some year old Wigg was encouraged to make sexual statements to a former employee. What kind of crap is that?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, you wrote that
"majority of us are mexicans." The majority? Where, in Mexico? At P1? At South Pas? There are El Salvadoreans and Guatamalans working at P1. And even the
"Mexicans" were not all born in Mexico, a lot were born here and are not even 1st generation. That statement is so bogus. I have to agree, it doesn't matter what mood Bea was in, she's too big, too old, too ugly not to know she should not have said that. And I agree, it is racist. I would never take lunch with Bea or go to Dave & Busters with her. That woman gives off bad energy and there's something scummie about her. I wonder what she really thinks of Blacks.

Anonymous said...

Whatever Bea feels about blacks she better not say it since big old blackie Yvonne could easily kick her flat ass. And think of all the things Yvonne knows about Bea, nasty.

Speedy Gonzalez said...

Bea didn't make any comments on Martin Luther King Day, did she? And she didn't make any comments for African History month, did she? You're right, If she did, Yvonne would drop kick her flat wide butt past the moon using her size 18 feet.

Execuse me, if I remember correctly Bea was fired from Universal Studios Federal Credit Union, seems they were smart enough to see Bea was damaged goods.

I worked at P1 and that woman, Bea, is the most unprofessional baboon, I have ever been forced to worked with. She gives out assignments and then you never hear a word from her again. You hand her projects, email her, and leave her voice mail messages and she never responds. One day she wants one employee to cross-train in one dept and the next day she cancels the whole project. She doesn't know what she's doing and never follows through with her plans. She talks horribly about people likey they're beneath her with she is nothing more than an Okie. She used to talk about Tsui like he wasn't the one that understood when it was she who doesn't listen or understand.

Her hair, her clothes, her horrible bubbly skin and on top of it all, her attitude. The woman needs a wake-up call and instead of spending credit union money to fix up the South Pasadena office she should take out a personal loan and get her face fixed, attend charm school, take classes that teach her that she shares the planet with other races, and maybe take a class on how to behave with other human beings. She's a walking nightmare and a big embarassment. Believe me, her comment on Mexicans is not the worst thing that's come out of that twisted mouth!

Anonymous said...

Stop it!!!!
C'mon this blog should be informative not destructive. This blogging business has gotten out of hand. Enough, enough people! Bea and Yvonne will get their fare. Just wait.

Anonymous said...

You mean Bea and Wigg? And when? In the meantime, with the assistance of an ignorant and unethical board, these two are driving the credit union into the negative and people are losing their jobs. No, I disagree. Call a spade a spade. Bea is incompetent and unprofessional and there's a good reason why she has had so many jobs in 10 years. Yvonne has failed, yet she gets a new fat title probably with a raise and protection from her BFF, Bea. Wigg has damaged the cu and still, unlike the many employees who lost their jobs, he's still getting his more than $100,000 a year which is wonderful considering the board took away all his power. Sorry, but I disagree, all of it is informative and tells the public who these people are.

Anonymous said...

Beatrice Walker fired these people because she said this would save $ for the cu.

Sonny (auditor)
Joe
Wendy
George

After she fired Sonny she hired someone else to do audits.

She fired the following person because she allegedly broke policy and scolded an employee who got in a fight with another teller in front of members. What Cathy did wasn't in writing and didn't Bea say if its not in writing it doesn't count. And those 2 tellers who got in the fight, they're still at the Los Angeles branch.

Cathy

Bea had the following people fired because she thought they were the blogger or bloggers.

Dane
Theresa
David
Tsu
Kim
Marc
Ratana
Whitni

She still has a list of other suspects. Saeid and her have been talking about who to get rid of next. And Wigg can't do a thing because he has no power anymore. So Wigg, how do you feel about having brought Bea to the credit union? Wigg, you are stupid. And yes, Bea will get hers just like she did at Universal Studios FCU.

Anonymous said...

They've been talking for a long time about closing or moving the Valencia branch. Is Sylvia still at Valencia? Now that they're in the red, what's going to happen with Valencia or Redlands? Problem is that they talk and talk about finding a new location but are they looking?

Anonymous said...

Who'd want to work at P1?

Anonymous said...

If Bea Walker wants to save face (no pun intended), she and executive team would post their salaries on their web page, just like the cities of Maywood and Bell. It would show she and the team have done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide. So what are you waiting for Bea?

Anonymous said...

On their career page, priority says 'All positions require candidates with friendly, positive attitude, and professional demeanor having work experience in customer service areas.' Based on all the posts you read on this blog it sounds like something is really wrong at priority. People are unhappy and no one trusts managment because Wigg and Bea are horrible. Priority watns friendly positive and professional people but the pres and coo are not friendly, positive or professional.

Put up or Shut up said...

I'm still waiting on Bea to go out and get all that 'new' business she was bragging she could get. How about it Bea, where is all that new business? Or were you talking out that flat ass of yours.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, your are an idiot! You write, "She has brought in new business but it's not up for you to know."

Its a credit union not a bank and so the owners are any body that's a member. That means transperancy which means it is up for any member to know where Beatrice Walker is spending money, what the results are of her new products and services, and what progress she has made! What kind of idiot are you that you can't even comprehend the elementary nature of where responsiblity lies and to who she is accountable? Moron!

"Leave the woman alone." What kind of a stupid comment is that. She doesn't want to be accountable so members are required to leave her alone? Your an embecile!

Bea's face and body may not have to do anything with Priority One but how she spends credit union money does, as does where she spends it, how she treats employees, as does explaining why her products and services have failed. And they have moron, look at their financial report for June and the 5300 report on the NCUA web site. And Diedra is also accountable as is that sexual harasser, Wigg, so if you're going to post provide proof of her success don't make her look more like the loser Bea Walker already is! Got it?

Anonymous said...

Yvonne, if you're going to defend you BFF, why don't you provide proof. And why don't you grow up and leave your backstabbing stage. Sure it is going to be hard to be good and treat people with respect and not cause people to lose their jobs, but in the end Yvonne, you will be a better person.

Anonymous said...

I agree, what kind of a moron thinks that what Bea does is no one's business. That's the problem, Bea thinks she's not accountable forgetting she is accountable to members and should be accountable to the board, though they seem to ignorant to grasp the fact. Its that mindset that makes her spends money that isn't hers, plot against employees, make racist statements, and makeup stories ghat get employees fired. She's accountable and she will have to answer. Hopefully this is her last stop at any credit union so that she doesn't ruin any more businesses or lives.

Pure stupidity. Ms. Walker's supporter why don't you grow up! The question to Ms. Walker and Wiggington and their supporters was, please provide proof of what Walker or Wigg has done to make Priority One better. All you did was prove again that what this blog says is true about P1 and its incompetent leaders. No, Ms. walker needs to step up to the plate and start explaining even if in her mind she doesn't think she has to. So come on Walker, start explaining!

Anonymous said...

That's always the problems with Wigg and Walker's handful of supporters. They like to respond by threatening the blogger or bloggers and telling them to shut-up but they never step up to the plate and like adults, provide the proof that what is said here is untrue or show the public what they have actually done that justifies their acts. And don't expect them to either because they are dishonest. All their hiding is answer enough that they are involved in things that are wrong, unethical and maybe even illgal.

Anonymous said...

Wigg, Bea and their supporters are cut from the same cloth, STUPID. Why doesn't their supporters put in one thing GOOD they have done?

Anonymous said...

do you remember when they took all our trash cans away and we all had to throw away our trash in a communal trash bin. And at the end of the day, we, had go around collecting everyones trash and empty all trash in one large bag.

it was the stupidest idea Wiggles, that's when I knew I wanted out. Did anyone not see any of this coming?

Anonymous said...

I remember that too. Wigg acted like he invented the wheel. It was stupid but this is stupider. Are employees going to have to start taking trash out to the bin in the back alley and throwing it away themselves? Are they going to have to supply their own trash bags and dust their desks? Whose going to sweep and vacuum? What's next, cutting newspapers into little squares so it can be used as toilet paper? No wonder Bea got booted out of Universal and Airco.

Anonymous said...

So management won't cut not even 10 percent of their salaries will they? Management is so full of CRAP!

Anonymous said...

Remember when Wigg passed out those badges that said, "just ask"? He said the badges would make business grow. What and idiot!

How much did they save by cutting out styrofoam and paper cups? $4000a year, maybe. Then they cutout payday goodies. That was another $1200 cut off the budget. Now they're cutting on janitorial. That'll make a good impression to members when they walk in the branches and see the trash cans full of trash. Its all a good way to make employees feel good about their workplace. And Bea spent$48,000 on carpeting? $5000 on a laptop. $70,000 on that piece of crap call center. Who knows how much Bea spent on remodeling her office with all that nice art work. And then she fires a lot of long time employees and starts hiring her real overpaid friends like Randy McBride, Saeid, and that friend of Yvonne's friend who works at the LA branch.

Anonymous said...

The report shows they paid
$33,038 in May on interest on that $10 million and another $31,973 in June for a total of $192,902 YTD.
That's a waste and helping bring business down.

Anonymous said...

Wasting money on interest for a loan Wigg should never have borrowed and wasting money on a CEO who has no power. Gee, where should they be cutting back? nd why did Bea hire Randy and get rid of Tsu?

Anonymous said...

Bea complained about the way people talk about her on the blog. She doesn't care about people, treats them like crap but she's so hurt when someone says something about her face. Go figure.

Anonymous said...

I think 2010 is either going to end in the red again like 2009, but with employees working with less benefits, no raises, and bad morale or they will show that they made almost no profit. That would mean 2 years in a row with failed performance. They have another payment due to the ncua either at the end of Aug or Sept and that is probably going to push them a lot deeper in the negative. Even cutting buying trash bags isn't help them at all.

Anonymous said...

The finances prove again that the board, Wigg and Walker are not able to lead the credit union.

Anonymous said...

They might not end up losing as much money as they did in 2009, but it doesn't look like they're going to end 2010 in the black either. It is now more than 6 months into the year and even with all the drastic and silly cut-backs, it doesn't look like business is improving and obviously this new coo, doesn't have what it takes to lead the credit union.

Anonymous said...

Bea only listens to Yvonne and the two are better at backstabbing then finances.

Anonymous said...

Members, read your loan agreements you sign with P1! They have clauses in there that the loan processors and officers don't tell you about, probably because they don't read their own agreements. Before you sign, read everything carefully or you may find yourself in trouble.

Anonymous said...

Why such high legal fees from Jan to June? Are they being sued? Who is using the lawyers most, Wigg and Bea or the board? Or is it hr?

Anonymous said...

ALL OF THE ABOVE. You only need lawyers when bad things happen to you or you DO bad things to people. Thats what happen when you do ill-legal things.

Anonymous said...

P1's problems run a lot deeper then what is reported here. That's why Bea and Wigg get so angry, every time some of their little illegal acts get exposed on the blog. If it wasn't for the blog, nobody would have know Wigg took that members car or sexually harassed that employee. And no one would know about Bea's comment about Mexicans or about all the money she spent on remodeling or the things she said about the Valencia mgr. That's probably why they need to call the lawyers so much. And then theres rumors their being sued by 2 or 3 employees. Good luck with that because I'm pretty sure theres a lot of ex-employees who will testify against Wigg and Walker.

I don't care if your face looks like pudding.

But all that money spent on those rugs,
And money wasted by Wigg in search of some bugs.

And why did you buy new umbrellas and floors?
Aren't you afraid you'll get shown the door?

And what's going on with you and Yvonne?
And since 2009, what have you done?

Forget President Wigg, they took all his power,
Maybe he'll now have the time, to go take a shower.

And why would you ruin what was such a nice place,
Unlike the others, I don't blame your face.

Bea kept a low profile since it got exposed what she said about mexicans at P1 though she should be ashamed of a lot more, like all the horrible things she has done to other employees and the credit union. I wish she would go and get a job where she doesn't have to work with people.

Bea suggested courtesy pay in 2009because she said it would bring badly needed fees. She was going to prove that she could fix all the mistakes Wigg made and make p1 successful It was she and Wigg who also decided to use Robert West's new taglines to say p1 is a member's financial fitness center and that they could help members win with money. They thought the changes would also change all the bad press. Bea was right, courtesy pay brought in a lot of new fees but it also made a lot of members delinquent. In 2 months after they introduced courtesy pay, dq's went way up like more than 75%. The added dq's meant more money from member problem is a lot of members couldn't pay them because of the economy. The extra fees Bea promised didn't make the exta money she promised and sent a lot of members to collections. Thats because she didn't first see if what worked at her other credit union would work at p1. The fees have been high for months, sometimes they are about $50,000 and sometimes way above $100,000. She came to p1 with a lot of ideas she brought from her other employers but that didn't didn't take the time to figure out if p1's members could afford them or if the members are mostly rich, middle class or poor? She didn't look at whether they pay on time or if they borrow a lot of money or have a lot of unsecured credit? She just figured if it worked where I used to work it'll work here. She's blown it big time but Diedra and the board can't see it because they don't even understand the financials plus Wigg and Bea have kept the dumb board in the dark for a long long time.

Anonymous said...

For a credit union that is doing bad they sure pay out a lot of money to the same people who are driving it into the ground. They are tooo top heavy. Get rid of Wigg because he has no purpose in the cu. Get rid of Bea because her behavior alone is the worst and what you don't want in an officer. Smock should have retired when he was in his 70's. And the cfo is way overpaid and taking advantage of a dying cu.

Anonymous said...

Wigg should have been kicked out a long time ago and Bea should never have been hired. The financials suck, the service sucks, the staff are working for little money and no benefits and Bea, Wigg, Saeid, and Smock get a nice big fat paychecks and benefits. And what is Smock doing locked up in his office all day long? What special projects is he working on? If Wigg has no work then what projects is he giving Smock? They're firing fromt the wrong end. Bea do us a favor, lay yourself off!

Sylvia complained and complained and they finannly got her Jonathon but he's not happy with all the cutbacks and people fired. I know she hates driving to Valencia and now being short a teller is going to make her go crazy. And did you hear Geof Palenik is no longer at SPas? He asked his employer to transfer him because of everything that is happening at P1.

Anonymous said...

Bea should be happy. First she fires people now they are trying to run out of the place. I had heard that has happened at other company's where she worked. Like that's hard to believe.

Wigg just sits in his office or spends the day chit chatting with Gema. Rodger stays in his office, looking miserable because Bea's taking his work. Get rid of those 2and you probably save about $200,000. Bea needs to go. She's a waste. She'd done nothing except talk about people and pick products that don't do anything. Did they hire Yvonne to keep Bea company becuase besides gossiping she sure doesn't collect. Her people do all the work while who knows what it is she does on her computer. You can boot Saeid out too. If he's there just to fix the numbers you can get someone else to do that for a lot less $. And even Yvonne knows the writing is on the wall that's why she says Saeid is doing everything to save the cu. If the cu wasn't in trouble it wouldn't need savig. Anyway, he can't save it because he's now part of the problem.

Anonymous said...

The board is a failure. They haven't done what they were supposed to do that's why they are in trouble. If you work in the credit union industry you know they are democratically controlled by members, NOT the board, supervisory committee, or ceo. The board is supposed to protect member assets and they are supposed to know about all changes affecting the industry.

Charles and Rodger didn't think P1 employees should attend chapter meetings and so the cu no longer does but it is the meetings which provide information the cu needs to know they are doing things according to law. And the board is supposed to meet, but at P1 a lot of board members don't attend regularly.

The board is supposed to oversee the ceo and hire some employees other than the ceo. They also decide salary which means they decided to pay Bea and Saeid more than $100,000 a year even though the cu was in financial trouble.

The board is supposed to setup controls but all the losses show they either didn't do it or didn't enforce them.

Diedra, since you are the one who stood up at this years annual meeting and said that Bea and her people are the right team for the cu, why don't you name one thing, anything, they did that made the cu money. Instead of telling us what you think show us using the monthly reports that proves they made a profit.

Since Cornelia heads the supv committee why don't you tell us why YOU thought it was smart to keep Wigg even though the detective proved he sexually harassed that employee. And why don't you explain why you and the board decided its smart to keep paying him 6 figures when he doesn't do squat!

Bea now that you make all the decisions name one product or service you stole, I mean borrowed, from another cu that made money for P1. Show us using the monthly reports.

Because Bea, Wigg, Saeid, and Rodger aren't going to voluntarily agree to a salary cut, you might want to start standing outside the branches swinging signs and dancing, telling people to come on in and open an account. Or you could sell girl scout cookies or set up a lemonade stand in front of the main branch, because your products aren't cutting it.

When life gives you lemons don't use them to try and make an apple pie.

First meeting he had he told them they were going to have to clock in and give him and Bea a list of every place they go and who they meet with and when they take lunch. 2 weeks later, he tells them their hours are being cut from 40 to 20 with no more med benefits. So what do he and Bea have planned now? Eliminating the team? Telling them they need to bring in the same amount of business they would if they worked 40 hours a week? You want business to improve fire Rodger and Bea. Anyway, he could spend more time at home with his boy toy and she could finish repairing her house.

Anonymous said...

When your cco makes sure you don't make money, then having a bd dept is a waste.

Anonymous said...

Knowing twisted sisters Bea and Yvonne or as Yvonne would say 'sistas' they have people or 'peeps' they want to bring in so I bet they will 'laid' off the BD team. Any takers?

Anonymous said...

Bea's says she wants new membership but takss away all the tools business development needs to get that business.

She cuts their hours and takes away their benefits and she expects them to feel motivated. Plus she took the hours away that they need to get business. Is she an idiot? Ok stupid question.

Plain and simple, bd=business.

You don't see her out in the field getting business because she knows she can't cut it. She dresses terrible, laughs loud, talks down to people, and shakes when she has to meet with the public. Ya, like you'll ever want to buy something from pudding face.

She says she doesn't care if members take their money out as long as they keep the min balance and as long as the credit union keeps getting new accounts. That's how much of idiot she is. She doesn't get it. You need shares to stay in business. You need members to sign up for loans and services to stay in business.

She should be fired. Wiggington should be fired. Rodger, should be fired. Get rid of Saeid and get someone who actually understands reporting finances honestly.

You can't blame Wiggington anymore though he's the one that opened the door that led to all those problems they have, but its now Bea's game and she is ruining everything.

Because of the blog, Wigg stopped talking about sex and he doesn't put his hands in his pockets to play with himself. He still doesn't use mouthwash and sometimes his body smells, but I guess you can't change everything. I wonder how many more cars Wigg would have taken if it wasn't for this blog? He still has the same dirty mouth but he says things away from South Pasadena. A few months ago I got to ride in his car and hear him talk. The guys got a trash mouth!

Back in 1999, Bea was the office/call center manager of Honda's FCU's Torrance office. She might have left after that employee stole all the money using the credit cards he took out in his grandparent's names.

In 2002, Bea was hired by Pasadena Schools Federal Credit Union as an executive vp. She was responsible for analyzing finances and investments and directing lending and new product development.

She must not have cut it there either because she went to work at Electricore. When she left Electricore she didn't give a 2 week notice so she could go to P1 to make the big bucks.

It would be interesting to know how she helped make Pasadena FCU a better place and what products she brought that made them money.

Anonymous said...

For that matter, why did AIRCO file a claim with CUMIS before Bea left that cu?

And ask Pres. Thom Ott why he wasn't happy with her when she worked at Universal Studios cu?

She didn't arrive at P1 and just start doing bad. She's been a bad manager long before she got to P1
and Diedra, the world's stupidist chairperson, took Wigg's advice and hired Bea.

Anonymous said...

Bea's jumped between so many credit unions and companies that do business with credit unions that you have to wonder why.

Anonymous said...

I just found out that when they let Ratana and Whitni go, they n offered great severance packages paying them more than the other employees they got rid of.

That lying sack of crap, Rodger Smock, told employees the cu can only pay employees a max of 1 week for each year of service. If that's true how come other terminated employees got much bigger offers? Rodger is sickening! He sucks as a supposed executive, he backstabs anyone and everyone, he never enforced policy, he helped get rid of good employees, he had that affair with Henry he lies about everything. He can't write, he can't design, he has no imagination, and yet, he helps in marketing. What the hell?
Its horrible for those people that lost their jobs but look at it this way, you don't have to listen to Rodger lie or look at Bea's face.

When Bea was at AIRCO they lost money and had to file a claim with CUMIS. When she was at Honda her employee stole money using 2 credit cards he was not authorized to get and then he raised the limit on each card to $25,000. Now she's at priority one spending cu money go decorate and buy things when the company is in trouble. Why is it that where she goes, credt unions lose money?

Ah yes, I remember the good old days when Mr. Harris was CEO. He always had a smile for you, sometimes he'd give you a hug. A hug where you did not feel dirty as with the current person in charge. Where you could walk thru the back office to say hello and how are you doing today without someone jumping up in a panic saying DON'T COME BACK HERE THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO COME BACK HERE. You knew you could completely trust Mr. Harris and trust what he was saying. And how about Manny, in by 9:00am, lunch at 12:00, back by 1:00 and out at 5:00. Mr. Harris and Manny did not sit on their asses talking about so loud that you could hear them in the lunch room. Mr. Harris and Manny did not take two to three hour lunches everyday. Mr. Harris and Manny sat in their offices WORKING and not sitting in someone else's office gossiping and backstabbing employees. Manny even brought in food to thank his employees for their service to the credit union. When was the last time you TRUSTED management here at P1? If I could only go back 6-8 years knowing what I know.

Puddin' Face & Big Foot. Are those Bea's and Yvonne's gangsta names?

If they have cut down staff to 20 to 25 hours a week and if they are not hiring and if they are terminating, then why does P1 need a Training Manager? Hey West. what do you nowadays that you have no one to train? Writing another book or taking naps, which is it?

Anonymous said...

There's no need for Robert West.
There hasn't been for a long time. He is the worst trainer. He doesn't teach anything. And without new employees being hired, why hasn't he been fired? At P1 they have a lot of high paid people who don't do shit. There's Wigg, Miss Smock, Bea, Yvonne, Joseph and Robert West. Maybe they should use the excuse they are the bloggers and fire tham all at the same time.

BTW, all those posts about being a hero, who posted those? Bea? Wigg? Or was it that Asian investigator Wigg hired a few weeks ago who was supposedly running a check on employee computers? That's the guy that would come to the office and never sign in at the front desk because Wigg didn't want anyone to know who he was. Something smells besides Wiggington.

Is it true they replaced the marketing specialist with Irma the admin asst who has no education or experience in marketing? She only has a high school degree! When are they bringing in a truck load of monkeys to start answering the phones?

In 2009 Wigg hired Sepia Consultants to look for bugs in his office and to check the pc's of the employees Wigg said were the blogger. The consultant didn't find anything. Wigg then went to attorney Adler and said he wanted the blog shut down but that didn't happen.

After Bea got hired in June 2009, she told Wigg and Diedra she would get the blog shut down (her words). Diedra and the board trusted her even though she's been a big f*** up everywhere else she's worked.

In May or April they hired an asian forensics investigator with Diedra's approval. The guy would come in to South Pasadena using the front steps or the side entrance but he never signed in. Wigg told the guy, Rodger and Bea, he didn't want proof the guy was there and didn't want anyone to know his name.

The guy went out to lunch with Rodger and Wigg and met with Yvonne and Bea. He also went to lunch with Esmeralda and Joseph. Joseph said he and Esmeralda were asked a lot of questions about the blog and who they thought the blogger was. They both told the guy who they thought the blogger was even though Esmeralda did most of the talking. She also told the investigator who she thought was helping the blogger. She squealed like a pig.

In the last week of May Bea goes and tells Yvonne and Joseph that the investigator found who the blogger was and who was helping the blogger and they were all going to be fired. She also said the blog was coming down that same day! May, June, and July have come and gone. We're in the middle of August. What happened? And does anyone know the name of the sneaky investigator?

They got rid of the marketing specialist and replaced him with a forgetful admin assistant? They also hired a new collection person. Bea terminates people so she can hire people like Saeid and Randy and hire staff for her buddy, Yvonne, and in the meantime service sucks, marketing doesn't exist, and quality is going down the drain as fast as the cu's assets. I'd like to know how she got her MBA in business because it sure doesn't show in anything she does.

Anonymous said...

You asked, "Anyone know why Sylvia was so rattled today?"

I don't know if she was rattled but she was at the Van Nuys branch to see if they can begin using matricula's to open accounts for undocumented persons. Of course that was suggested 2 years ago to Wigg but he was to slow and thought it was too risky but their desperate now so they got to get business where they can. Then again she's going in for surgery later this month and she hates going to Valencia, so who knows what was bothering her. She's just awful.

Anonymous said...

Did you see the phone list. Wigg's name is first then Bea, Saeid and last, Smock. What happened? He used to be second. He shouldn't even be on the list and neither should Wigg, Bea or Saeid.

Anonymous said...

Adopting the use of a matricula can bring in a whole new sector of membership but considering P1's oversight failures, it might be best not to try and enter this marketplace. If they have problems with compliance they probably will themeselves wide open and could lose money if they are not careful in handling undocumented people. They should leave that type of business to credit unions and banks that have qualified persons running the show. Definitely Bea, Wigg and even Sylvia don't have experience or intelligence.

Anonymous said...

Sylvia lives, eats and breathes Priority One. On her days off she even tries to sell membership when she's at the market or at her hairdresser. Problem is she's not being just a good employee, she obsessed. She doesn't tolerate any employee who doesn't share her obsession. And that's just one of her problems. She puts a big front for members, but she treats employees like crap. And she's nervous, hyper and a nag. Even dishonest Bea Walker rolls her eyes when she hears Sylvia's name and says, "Sylvia calls and calls and calls the main office" whenever Sylvia desperately needs something.

Sylvia does not work well with educated members. She doesn't have the communication skills or refinement needed to speak to people who are intelligent. Some of the credit union's educated members have said she's too pushy and has nervous personality.

Before Bea started cutting back, Sylvia attended the Burbank chamber lunches each month. Some of chamber's leaders have said they find her annoying and aggressive and see her as a problem. She is judgemental, pushy, rude, has no etiquette or refinement, and will lie at a drop of a hat which doesn't fit in with the image she's trying to sell that she's a Christian. By the way, she's not a Christian because they don't backstab or lie about people, but she would only know that if she was a true Christian. She complains about having to go to Valencia and substitute for the manager who is out on leave. Why complain? What happened to patience and being thankful for all things. She tries so hard to get close to Bea, but you're not supposed to yoke yourself with someone as evil as Bea. Sylvia is confused and has helped create the horrilbe working envirnment at priority One. Don't believe it? Ask the employees what they think of her.

Anonymous said...

Sylvia hates Bea and makes all sorts of remarks behind her back but kissy face to her in person. She is such a hypocrite and not Christian at all.

The firm Wigg hired in 2009 was Sepia Consulting. He had them run a scan in his office looking for bugs. They did that after almost everyone had gone home for the day and Wigg closed the blinds in his office so no one would see what they were doing. The reason Wigg used credit union money to hire Sepia is because he told Diedra Harris-Brooks, Rodger Smock, and the owner of Sepia, Reggie Ellis, that the information on the blog was too accurate and someone had to have hidden a microphone in his office. They searched under tables, his desk, cabinets, lamps and even the phone, but they couldn't find the bugs. I guess they forgot to scan Wigg's BIG mouth.

Reggie Ellis has done other work for P1 besides looking for bugs in Wigg's office. At Wigg's request, he came to the South Pasadena branch on a weekend in 2009 and checked the PC's belonging to those employees Wigg knew in his mind were the blogger.

Reggie has also reviewed the credit union's policies and procedures and has met with Dane Simmons and earlier this year, with Patti Loiacano, and gave them a list of policies and procedures the credit union needed which they had never bothered to create.

Reggie is actually a pretty honest guy. He is also the
VP/Chief Admin Officer at Xpert Private Security & Consulting and owner of Sepia consulting and Investigations. Before this, he was the senior VP, Director of Security at Pacific Capital Bancorp Education: California State University-Dominguez Hills, National College of Business, San Diego State University-California State University

Reggie visited all the branches in 08 or 09 and gave Wiggs a list of all security concerns that he had including camera and entrance systems. Upper management chose to ignore them. Reggie is a good person.

Typical P1. They ignored warnings that Wigg was no good for the credit union. They ignored warnings Bea that Bea is like a magazine, she comes with a lot of issues. They ignored the fact that Yvonne couldn't collect water in a rain forest. They ignore the fact the Rodger is the worst policy breaker at P1. They ignore the fact that Esmeralda is too uneducated to handle HR. They ignore the fact that Diedra is as good for the cu as mumps on a child. Its never about whats good for the cu, members or employees.

Anonymous said...

I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Everything Wigg tried to hide ended up on this blog. That is funny or is it sad? Maybe if Wiggelstrum had played less, talked less or looked over his shoulder more, nobody would have noticed. Better yet, if he had done his job and not played around like some menopausal 58 year old and obeyed policy, nobody would have found out about him and maybe people would have their jobs and the credit union would be doing great!!

His biggest mistake is Bea. Wow!!
He brought her to P1 to do his job and they both pretended they would act like they didn't know each other. So how'd that story work out for you, Wiggledumb? Wigg, is there anything you did right? I can't think of a thing. Come on, help us out.

Anonymous said...

Anyone remember the strategic plan that POCO spent thousand of dollars and countless hours developing? Look at it now. What a failure. Bea and other senior managers were going to work wonders. Managers had their assignments and were prevented from doing a lot of them because they were blocked by their supervisor. I guess if the supervisors wouldn't do their job, they didn't want the managers to succeed in their tasks. Just another example of a total waste of money and time. They never stick with a plan (unless it's one of their bad ones).

Anonymous said...

That is the way Bea rules. She talks about "her plans" for the credit union and she spends credit union money to get "her plans" setup, but she never launches any of them (unless its redecorating). You often get the impression she is just talking out loud and she really doesn't know what she's doing. In the process, she wastes her time and that of everyone she drags into "her plans." She changes "her plans", sometimes on a weekly basis. She sends out emails and places notices on the intranet announcing "her plans" and then nothing happens.

She has taken away the ability of the staff to their jobs and taken their tools and hurt morale, incomes, benefits, and created a terrible working environment. She has also destroyed the quality of service.

She doesn't understand logistics and doesn't even consider convenience or quality service. She just doesn't have what it takes to create sound plans or get them started. And she doesn't even respond to calls to her office or cell phone or her emails. You really have to ask, what good is she?

THERE IS A REASON WHY BEA WALKER HAS HAD SO MANY JOBS!!!!!!!! SHE IS A TOTAL F@#K UP!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

The top 10 reasons Bea Walker is a BIG failure:

10. She terminates employee after employee to cut expenses, but the credit union is back in the red and plummeting.

9. She slams her staff and then complains that there are trouble makers in the credit union.

3. She cuts working hours by as much as 50% and takes away medical benefits and orders no more contributions into employee 401k plans and then wonders why employees are miserable.

8. She thinks buying new carpeting and painting will save the business.

7. She redecorates her office and claims "the insurance paid for it."

6. She buys a computer and months later tries to turn in a partial receipt. She refuses to provide the whole receipt and she refuses to bring the computer to the South Pasadena office so they can scan to determine when she exactly bought it.

5. She doesn't have an original idea so has to call her friends in the industry for ideas. And she gets rid of marketing.

4. She lets Yvonne Boutte pull her by the nose.

3. She introduces Courtesy Pay and pushes members into collections.

2. She failed at Universal Studios and AIRCO but hit her head and thought she could make business succeed at Priority.

1. Today, the Intranet announced that the Redlands branch will close on 10/15/10.

Congratulations Bea for another job well done. Wonder what future
credit union is going to be lucky enough to hire you to help them out.

Anonymous said...

Since she's the one whose been making all the decisions since the beginning of 2010 because those idiots Wigg and Smock have been kicked to the curb, then Redlands closing is all on Bea Walker. Wow, what a useless sack of dog poop that woman is. I thought she said she could replace all the business development team? That witch couldn't sell water in the Sahara. She has no talent and everything she does is bad for the credit union. Unbelievable! Now because of Ms. Walker, formerly of Honda FCU, Universal Studios CU, and AIRCO CU, a whole branch is closing and people are losing their jobs. Add to that that there is no more branch to help the members in Riverside.

What's next Ms Walker, you going to release a plague?

You want evidence she doesn't know what she's doing, look at what she's done so far. Disgusting.

Absolutely, undeniably, carved in stone,true!!!!!!

Just FYI. They're going to keep the small Riverside office open though only a couple of employees will be manning that location.

Wigg brought in Bea.

Bea brought in Loren Lillestrand. Over $25,000 spent for him to tell her where employees fit. Where are you supposed to fit in employees if there's hardly a credit union left?

Bea brought in Joseph Garcia from Redlands and promoted him from branch manager to temporary call center manager to permanent call center manager to loan manager to credit manager to floating branch manager. He had no experience and so they now gave Saeid Real the Estate loans.

Bea promoted Yvonne from collections mgr to director of project management. Collections are getting worse.

Bea promoted Robert West from Training mgr to Education and Training mgr. If they are not hiring why do you need a training mgr.

Bea brought in Randy McBride to over see IT even though IT already had a mgr.

Bea brought in Saeid Raad as a temp, paying him more than $100,000a year. Now he's permanent and getting more than $100,000 a year.

Yvonne brought in her friend who still works at LAPDC as a teller. Notice how senior employees have been terminated but not Yvonne's friend.

Yvonne hired fat Jerry as a perm employee this past week even though homeboy's collectors are always calling South Pas to get him to pay his past due bills.

Bea terminated employees to save money.

Bea terminated employees she said were one blogger.

Bea's products have failed.

Bea ruined employee morale.

Bea is closing down Redlands.

Bea's employee stole more than $80,000 when she was a supervisor at Honda CU.

Bea got fired from Universal FCU.

Money was lost when she worked at AIRCO CU and that cu had to file a claim with CUMIS.

See a pattern?

Bea brought Loren Lillestrand to P1to help her profile employees. In his first meeting with employees he said his business was slow because of the economy and that Bea, who he had known since she worked at Honda, had called him in to help her get an idea where employees fit in and to help him make some money.

She and Wigg gave him a list of names of employees they thought were the blogger and others they thought were rebels. After meeting with two groups of employees, he called specially picked employees into 1 on 1 meetings to get information about how they felt about the business and management. The specially picked group were all people that Bea thought were the blogger or helping the blogger.

You knew Loren was full of crap when he said, "Bea's a really good lady." She's not good and she ain't no lady! He would have sounded more believable if he had said she's a f*ck up, a snake, and leaves companies in ruins.

He interviewed the "special" group of hand picked employees and wrote down everything they told him on his laptop. He later met with Bea and reported his findings though he told employees that his notes were confidential and would not be shared. By the way, he's supposedly another Christian like Sylvia and West.

After reviewing what he found, Bea also asked him to take the BSA Specialist out to lunch and get as much info out of her. The reason Bea picked her was because she had suggested management take a cut in pay until P1 was back on its feet.
Bea take a cut in pay? Oh no, never. I wouldn't pay that hick $10,000 every 2 years to work at any credit union.

When Loren was at lunch with the BSA Specialist she told him the problem at P1 were not the employees but management. Mr. Expert on people had a hissy fit, slammed his laptop shut and said lunch was over.

A few weeks later, Rodger "the tool" Smock called Theresa to his office and said her job was being phased out. Two months later they hired a temporary replacement for Theresa. How strange that Rodger Smock lied to an employee. Oh wait, I got him confused with Sister Theresa.

The first time the credit union paid Loren it was for a meeting at Smock's house in Echo Park. Loren met with Smock, Wigg, and Bea, and gave them a sample of what he would do when he met with employees. The cost for the 2 1/2 hour meeting was $3000. Of course, Bea said it was worth it because it wasn't her money. Notice how she has no problem spending credit union money? Carpets, vertical blinds, paint, and her laptop all paid by anybody who is a member but not by the worst officer to come to P1 since Wigg.

They paid Loren over $32,000 for those few useless meeting and none of it ever helped P1, thanks to Bea Walker. It was a waste of money and a waste of time. It all proved Bea has no ability as a COO. She wasted so much money, she should be sued and ordered to pay it all back. Then she should be tarred and feathered and sent a packin'.

Wigg, Saeid and Bea visited Redlands to tell them the cu is doing really good but to stay in business they have to close down that branch. How can the cu being doing good if they have to close the branch down and layoff most of the staff? How is the cu doing good if they've taken away benefits, cut pay and hours? The three of them think everyone believes anything they have to say. Its like saying Wigg is not a sexual harasser, Bea is really pretty and Saeid hates tabacco.

They're probably unloading because their capital is dropping though they still are paying our over $30,000 a month on interest alone on that $10,000,000 Wigg borrowed in 2008 to raise their asset size. A part of the money spent by Bea was reported under depreciation and is being paid in installments. The other day, they sent out a check for $13,000 to cover just part of what she spent on the carpeting. They are still paying on a lot of other things including the call center. It makes it look like they're paying out less but its like anything charged, the longer you take to pay the more the amount is increased because of interest charges. P1 is really a great study on the failures of people who are ill equipped to do business. It really shows you what happens when you give people with no discipline responsibility over money and what they choose to spend on.

If they unload Bea that's over $100,000 saved. If they unload Wigg that another $100,000 saved. If they unload Smock that about $80,000 saved. Get rid of the 3 biggest problems and that almost $300,000 a year saved. Next, get rid of Saeid who is definitely overpaid and who shouldn't be trusted with the books if he's doing Bea's bidding. That would be another $120,000 approximately saved each year.

Wigg is a man(?) known for talking too much. It shouldn't come as no surprise that what he said in front of employees ends up being gossiped about or posted here but for him to think someone put a bug in his office is just plain stupid. He's got a camera outside his office and he has a camera inside his office. How could someone put a bug in his office without it being recorded?

Bea thinks everything she says is going to be believed by virtue she's the COO. That's exactly why you should never believe anything she says. I used to think she was just out-of-touch but I now realize she has to lie to make things palatable. She is also the worst COO I have ever worked for. Its amazing she hasn't been fired by more employers.

P1 is doing bad and her cut-backs slow down losses, but the COO doesn't understand that as long as you're failing to get new business and as long as you're not trying to keep your members or create things that improve morale, the credit union will stay doomed. Telling the employees at Riverside that the credit union is doing well, but they're going to be laid-off and the office closed is like the roof of your house is on fire and every room is full of smoke, but you stand up and tell people, "There's no fire!"

In Nov Bea bega telling us what employees she suspected of writing the blog. She would ay, "I don't know how much longer I can protect them" or "I'm trying to keep them here but I'm going to have to let them go." Bea never protects anybody but herself and her bff, Yvonne. At the end of the day, she's a failure and maybe also an idiot. She's not as smart as she thinks and her degree proves having an education means nothing if you don't know how to apply what you learned. Her cut-backs are a joke and everyone knows, eliminating paper cups and cutting back on buying promotions is not going to save any company.

What? Miss Smock was not invited? Ouch, that had to hurt. I'm suprised Wigg was invited.

Anonymous said...

Smock would have been the person to go with Wiggington to tell employees they were being laid-off or in the case of Riverside, to tell them the branch is going to be closed. Bea clipped his wings. All the way back in January, Bea was telling Yvonne that she didn't like the fact the Smock handled HR or that he was the one who oversaw reimbursements. She thought he had too much authority and kept saying she wanted to take away a lot of his duties. It really is funny, because she said all this to Yvonne but in his face she smiled and worked him. The old queen didn't want to rock the boat, so he went along with whatever she said because he's silly puddy.
Well, now Bea took HR away and even pushed him into a corner so
"supposedly" help Wiggington (who doesn't do shit) to work on special assignments. Two weeks ago, Bea cut his hours so he no longer works on Wednesdays which means Bea also cut his pay. Wonder if she cut his medical benefits? If Smock hadn't been the world's biggest backstabber, liar, and broken the rules he was supposed to enforce and helped Wigg get rid of so many good employees, you might feel sorry for him. But don't, because Miss Smock made his own bed and he should lie in it. He comes second to Bea and Wigg.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous how do you know what Mrs. Walker tells or say to Yvonne? I'm curious to know if Yvonne is sharing information that she is not supposed to about her BFF.

Bea talks too much (like her comments about Mexicans) and her bff and the others she talks to like to repeat what she says. And then theres all those thin walls and lots of ears at SPas. Of course Wigg probably thinks somebody planted a bug in the office but the only bugs you'll find at SPas are the termites which they find every year in the call center and in Wigg's and Bea's offices and which they only exterminate when the problem gets out of control.

Anonymous said...

So Smock doesn't work a full five days a week anymore? When I worked at P1, we all knew Smock helped hurt so many people and made so many people lose their jobs just so he could stay in good with Wigg. I guess he never thought the day would come when Wigg would be knocked on his ass. You're right, no one should ever feel sorry for Smock. He helped ruin a lot of lives using lies and he was the worst VP of HR which is probably why Superior Industries got rid of him years ago. Of course, P1 has that knack of hiring everyone else's discards. Smock was fired by Superior but became a VP at P1. Wigg left Security where he had reaching a level manager position and he came to P1 and in time, became president. They hired Bea who used to work at Honda, Electricore, South Pasadena CU, Universal Studios, AIRCO, etc, etc, etc. and made her a COO and in a little more than a year, she has helped bring down business and morale. Remember, one company's trash is Priority One's treasure.

Bea has her nerve to say things are good when they have to close Redlands, cut hours from 40 to 20, take away benefits, and cut Smock's hours. Ya, they sound like they're doing GREAT!!

Anonymous said...

Bea, before you tell employees who work and see everything falling down around them, how great the credit union is doing, read your own financials. June's say P1 ended the month at a big negative -$590,099. That's not good. Maybe you should leave instead because let's face it babe, there isn't one thing you've done to prove you are worth what your paid.

No one mentioned on here that the notice P1 put out announcing Redlands is closing also said members can use share branching. Is that supposed to be a selling point? No member is going to stay with P1 just because they are part of the shared branch network. That has to be idiot Walker's idea. Credit unions are supposed to be personal and not like banks. Members should be able to visit their branch and not another credit union that's a member of shared branching. And some deposits made at affiliate credit unions can take up to 10 days to post. Where's the real time or service? Sorry Ms. Walker, but you are either stupid or out of touch, because you're offering nothing to the members in Riverside. Its best if members open accounts at other credit union where service is important and where members have value. You can't be unreliable and hope people will trust you with their money. And there are plenty of cu's out there where the president and coo don't act like children in bad need of parental guidance.

Wigg and DIEDRA had a great opportunity to develop Riverside but thought playing around was more important than doing his job. There's no reason for members to settle and stay with a credit union that doesn't care for them or its own employees.

There's also Altura. There web page is at https://www.alturacu.com/ .

Eligibility is easy, all you have to do is live, work, worship or attend school in Riverside County,
San Diego County, Orange County cities of Anaheim, Irvine or Santa Ana, San Bernardino cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario or Fontana. They charge a $25.00 initial deposit for online memberships: $12.00 of this will be applied to your one-time membership fee ($7 toward member equity and $5 contributed to the Altura Scholarship Foundation).

Altura is another Riverside credit union that has a great reputation. There's no reason to remain a member for a credit union like P1 that doesn't care about its members or employees.

Altura eligibility requires you live, work, worship or attend school in Riverside County,

Wigg wasted a great opportunity when he was handed all of Riverside county and decided to instead spend his time playing, gossiping, wasting money, and backstabbing. And you can include Diedra Harris-Brooks and board members Gathers, Saffold, Hale, Thomas, and Irving, none of who even made the slightest effort to direct the credit union. And the president was helped all along by Rodger Smock who always made excuses to justify the horrible things done by Wiggington. Bea Walker arrived and proved how untalented she is by ignoring the potential Riverside had and right away started thinking of ways on how to shut down the Redlands branch. These 3 and the board get a big F for performance.

Anonymous said...

Wiggs mistakes were always caused by ignorance, a failure to act quickly to resolve problems, and his need to cover up his mistakes by blaming members of his staff. In 2007, Wiggington allowed ballots to be mailed with member SSN's and account numbers printed on the outside of each envelope. His mistake cost the credit union $100,000 and forced them to purchase services from EQUIFAX which would monitor member accounts for up to one year.

He also said the mistake was caused by ex-manager, Alan Santos, though it was Wiggington who refused to review a sample batch of outgoing ballots because in his words, "the president doesn't do that." Seems the president didn't do squat. Mr. Santos was unfairly put on suspension for a few days by the same board who never investigates anything. Wiggington would later tell Alan that he fought so Alan wouldn't get fired and the board agreed to suspend him, instead. Wiggington proved again to be a liar.

When it was decided to transfer the accounts for all members of the newly merged, Inland Counties Postal Credit Union, it was decided to process the transfer manually using tellers, member service representatives, and members of the loan dept. The manual entry of information resulted in huge mistakes which took weeks to resolve and by then, a lot of Inland Counties Postal CU members, closed their new P1 accounts. Some of the problems included non-posting of funds to the member's new P1 accounts. Another was that checks cards did not work. Another problem was that accounts could not be accessed. The biggest failure was Wiggington's refusal to move quickly to correct the problem. If he had, he might have been able to stop the huge closure of accounts that followed. Instead, he issued an order for employees only to correct those accounts where a member actually contacted the credit union to report a problem.
His mistake cost P1 another $100,000.

Wigg again cost P1 a huge amount of money to pay a detective to investigate if he sexually harassed an ex-employee and he was placed on PAID LEAVE, approved by Diedra Harris-Brooks.

That $600,000 phone system he chose to purchase from AT & T proved a big failure and has continued to cost money each time the credit union has to call and ask for AT & T to send their phone specialists.

There is a lot more Wigg has done that has cost the cu so much money but his biggest mistake which is tearing away at the cu's resources is Beatrice Walker, his COO, who he brought to P1 and who now has most of his authority.

Its interesting because Wiggington's efforts were to cover up wrong doing through lies, slander, character assassination, denial of all accountability, amd taking credit for what he didn't do.

Anonymous said...

And where is Wiggington now?

Anonymous said...

He's in his office playing until he gets orders from Bea telling him what to do.

So how many people are going to work at the Riverside branch? Its a small branch isn't it? And I think Smock's hours might have been cut back by more than one day a week. You just can't feel bad for the guy who had a big hand in the problems at the credit union.

Anonymous said...

Boy, if they're not firing employee, employees are either looking for other jobs or quitting. Jonathon's last day of work is today which means Burbank will be short a teller. George is out temporarily which means they are short a bus deve rep who also is part of the dual custody team needed to go to hospitals to count money in the ATMs, deposit money in the ATMs and pick up deposits plus help when the ATMs are not running right. He's also the one that created the reports used by Sylvia.

Sylvia has been crying that she hates going to Valencia and Judith was taken from Valencia and transferred to Burbank to help as branch manager. Sylvia is getting ready to leave to have surgery and Susanne is supposed to return on the first week of Sept. You can thank Bea Walker for all the bad planning and disorganization and emotionally out of control Sylvia.

So Redlands is closing? That's amazing. All the hard work done by Mr Harris to get them on board and help them and 3 years later, they're closing. In 2007, their cap was 10%, they had just got Redlands/Riverside, they were worth over $172 million and no one was afraid for their jobs. Now in 2010, they've lost so much thanks to Wigg, Diedra, and this woman, Walker. Its amazing. I saw the report, they're like down to $153 million and losing.

Anonymous said...

Its not so amazing when you consider Wigg didn't keep up the credit union. He wanted to erase everything Mr Harris did and even get rid of the people Harris had like and Wigg took everything for granted. You can blame the board and that moron, Bea, but its really Wigg who ruined the credit union.

Anonymous said...

In plain and simple words Wigg was JEALOUS of Mr. Harris. He was JEALOUS of the RESPECT and LOVE that EVERYONE had and FELT for Mr. Harris. When the credit union started going down he could have called Mr. Harris and asked for his advise. Wigg could have also LISTEN to Manny, but NOOOOOOO, Wigg had to strut around trying to prove he was the man, Mr. Numbero Uno. He talked about his staff and the members, he put down staff and members. He and Smock really were thinking they had arrived and they both walked around like peacocks. Now it looks like both peacocks have loss their plumbes. BUT the WORSE thing Wigg has done is bring in that F-ED UP WART HOG looking woman to the credit union. For the board and sup. committee (why do we have them? the Supervisory Committe don't do a DAMN thing) not to see that this womuan is bringing down, no not bringing down the credit union but KILLING the credit union is unreal. Priority One is a JOKE in the credit union world. Thank you Wigg for doing EVERYTHING MR. HARRIS WOULD NEVER DO and for your underhanded way of getting this VIPER WOMAN in the credit union. Thank you Smock for not EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER protecting us employees. Thank you Esmeralda, our HR (JOKE) Representative for being a lowlife underhanded bottom feeding bitch. Thank you Board and Sup. Committe for being too STUPID and UNDER EDUCATED to see the REAL financial condition of the credit union. And most of all thank you Bea Walker, for making me remember how UGLY unpopular girls (like you) acted in high school. Bea you're the BEST at being the WORSE. BRAVO BREAD PUDDIN FACE.

The report for July shows that account closures and delinquencies have increased again. Don't let CFO, Saeid Raad's cooked monthly reports fool you. Its the actual individual reports that show new business, losses and account closures that tell the truth. The CFO should change his name to Chef Raad.

The problems they have now with delinquencies and product failures are caused by Bea Walker and her "friend" (that is all they are, right?), Yvonne Boutte. These 2 morons couldn't sell tacos in Mexico (no offense, Ms. Walker).

But you are right, Wiggington is the cause for Priority 1's failures. Wiggington is a scum bag. Right after Mr Harris retired, he and that other dirt bag, Smock, told employees that Mr Harris was "old school" and that Mr Harris had been jealous of him and had held him back. What was he jealous of? His bad breath, his big mouth, or his intelligence which made Priority 1 what it is today? If I didn't know better, I would have thought Wiggington used to work at Enron.

When Generis died, Mr Harris flew down to Los Angeles to attend his funeral. For those of you who were there, you will remember how Wiggington completely ignored Mr. Harris. One day while cleaning out his desk, Mr. Wiggington found Mr. Harris' old name plate. He took it out and in front employees threw it in the trash and said, "I need to get rid of this." Its not the name plate that should have gone in the trash.

The first day Wigg took over, he called employees into groups to tell them about his plans for the credit union. I still remember how he bragged that he would bring Priority 1 into the 21st century and that idiot Smock sat there, with the smuggest look plopping choclates in his big fat mouth. What Wiggington should have said was that he was going to make Priority 1 lower than a snake's belly and would make sure employees lost their jobs and benefits and that everthing eventually was so miserable that even a cockroach couldn't survive the place. (no offense again, Bea Walker).

Bea Walker is Wiggington's handy work. She must have been hired to finish off the credit union because nothing she's done to date, has made anything better. She was supposed to help cut expenses and make business grow, not obliterate everything in sight.

And Esmeralda is just another uneducated troll who has the responsibility of overseeing HR though she doesn't have the brains or education to do the job. In time she will add new problems to the credit union.

If any of you have a chance, drop a thank you note at the South Pasadena office thanking the board, supervisory committee, Wiggington, and Walker for the great job they've done.

"Can someone pleaseeeeee tell me what Robert West does?"

Notice how no one from mgmt ever answers that question? Only at P1 do they pay a salary to a
"training manager" while they have a hiring freeze and have fired lots of employees. That's another example of Bea Walker's brain at work. She fires a lot of employees and then cuts the hours of those she didn't fire, from 40 to 25 a week. She also takes away their benefits. Hey stupid bitch, how do you think they're supposed to pay their rents, buy food, pay for gas, and what happens if they get sick? Are you going to pay their medical bills?

Seriously folks, who is Robert West training now days? It can't be Wiggington, because you couldn't train Wiggington to use deodorant. It couldn't be that he's teaching Bea to wear make-up because by the looks of it, her face absorbs anything it comes in contact with.

Maybe Mr West is writing another self-help book and after its done, he'll go around the office again and ask employees to buy a copy of it on Amazon. Of course the reason he naps in his office is probably because he's got nothing to do. Before Wiggington lost his power, West was the president's tool. Now he's just a poser who gets a salary and paid benefits, even if none of them are deserved or earned.

Anonymous said...

If you're going to ask why West is there, why's Wigg still there? Wasn't screwing the cu over, sexual harassment, taking a member's car, and plotting terminations enough to get him kicked out?

And why's Smock still there? He never did his job, left the cu open for lawsuits, didn't protect employee rights, didn't document complaints and didn't investigate. Shouldn't he have been fired a long time ago?

And why's Bea there? Didn't she spend credit union money on decorating when finances were dropping? Didn't she slander employees? Didn't she make a racist remark about Mexicans?

You can add Sylvia Perez, Diedra Harris-Brooks, Saffold, Gathers, Hale, Thomas, Simmons.......
