Hyperbole

SAME OLD STORY

Last January, Priority One Credit Union's President, Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. declared that Priority One was again experiencing a resurgence in new business and in his words, "growing." This is not the first time the President has declared renewed prosperity where none exists. In February 2010, he and COO, Beatrice Walker reported profits earned during the month of January 2010 but by March it was revealed that the two transferred monies from one of the credit union's general ledgers and fraudulently reported these as profit from new business. 

In November and December of 2011, he visited the Burbank branch and told staff that Priority One was reeling in new business and cited high net capital as proof of his statement. By mid-January 2012, he issued directives to all managers and staffs ordering that they acquire new business over the next 30 to 60 days or he would have to lay-off employees and close the Burbank branch. In June 2012, he closed the Burbank branch and over the past five months, many full-time employees have been terminated. 

At the start of the year, the President began a campaign denying that he has ever been accused of sexual harassment or that any employee has ever sued the credit union. In response to his statements, we published documentation composed in 2008 by Senior Vice President, Rodger Smock, and Board Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks, describing investigation proceedings and the Board's determination.  We also published documentation pertaining to the lawsuit filed by former Burbank Branch Manager, Linda Nisely. Last November, the credit union voluntarily entered into mediation to settle Mrs. Nisely's lawsuit quietly and amicably. Mrs. Nisely's lawsuit was scheduled to proceed to trial on February 12, 2012 in Department P at 300 E. Walnut Avenue in the city of Pasadena, California, but the credit union's arrogant attorneys, Richardson, Harmon Ober, expedited a settlement package to avoid what would assuredly have been an embarrassing and telling trial. 

President Wiggington is a man addicted to raising facades and doing all in his power to deter attention away from the illegal acts he's committed. He has proven he is no strategist though he is a story-teller. 


BRING IN THE CLOWNS 

On Saturday, July 7, 2012, the President again duped employees into believing they were attending a training session. Upon their arrival at South South Pasadena, they were informed the credit union was actually conducting another of its quarterly all-staff meetings. Why lie to employees? Because President Wiggington is addicted to lying. 

During the meeting, the President issued directives demanding employees work harder to bring in new business but conspicuously failing to provide instruction, tools, training, etc. that could help realize his demands. 

2012 has proven that neither CLO, Cindy Garvin, or AVP, Joseph Garcia, possess the magical abilities needed to correct the immense number of problems created by the President since starting his appointment on January 1, 2007. The only strategy we've seen implemented that is alleged intended to motivate employees into acquiring increased levels of new business is the use of fear. What the three alleged strategist seem oblivious to is that if you subject employees to fear, all you'll get is employees who are afraid, not employees who are motivated or who attain their assigned goals. None possesses the ability or talent to forge strategies that accomplish their intended purpose. As a result of the failures of the President, the CLO, and the AVP, many employees have succumbed to termination. 

On a side note, Ms. Garvin was hired in August 2011 in the capacity of Director of Lending and four-months later, promoted to CLO and appointed authority over all branches. So what in her performance during her first four-months of employment, justified a promotion and an increase of her annual salary of more than $20,000? 

Returning to the subject of the quarterly all-staff meeting, the President and Executive Vice President, Rodger Smock, spoke to staff. Employees who appeared bored were immediately approached by either Ms. Garvin or Director of Credit Resolutions, Yvonne Boutte, and ordered to listen to what was being said.

Ms. Garvin also spoke hypocritically about treating "people with respect." She stated that "continued abuse of members will not be tolerated" though ignoring the fact that some of the most notable abuses of members are committed on a daily basis by the staff of the credit union's Credit Resolutions Department. 

Ms. Garvin is also aware that employees of the United States Postal Service have lodged numerous and frequent complaints about being verbally abused by collection representatives including, Supervisor, Alex Suarez, and the department's Director, Yvonne Boutte. 

Employees were also informed that Yvonne Boutte, and AVPs, Gema Pleitez and Sylvia Perez, oversee the credit union’s “Robbery Program.”Amongst the information provided, employees were urged, that during a robbery they should:
  • Carefully study a robber’s clothes.
  • Assess the height and weight of the robber; and
  • To give a robber whatever they demand.

REALLY?

We have no idea why Sylvia Perez was selected by the President to be part of a group that oversees the "Robbery Program". She is completely out of her element and wholly unqualified. 

In 2005, the erratic and hyper AVP who at the time served as Branch Manager of the Van Nuys office witnessed a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses, standing just outside the branch's doors. Members visiting that office cannot enter the premises without staff electronically opening the door. Despite the suspicious appearance of the man, Mrs. Perez chose to open the door. She would later tell employees, "I knew he looked suspicious and I thought he might be a robber." In spite of what she observed, she pressed the button located under her desk which allowed the man into the branch. 

Almost immediately upon entering the small branch, the man pulled out a gun and pointing at the Assistant Branch Manager, demanded that every teller give him their money or he would shoot the Assistant Branch Manager. And though Mrs. Perez sat in her glass enclosed office, she became paralyzed with fear and was unable to press the button that would have alerted the police that the branch was being robbed. 

The robber fled the branch, boarded a car but neither Mrs. Perez or any other employee of the branch wrote down the vehicle's license plate number. The robber was never apprehended making this a successfully robbery. 

Mrs. Perez was selected by Employee Services Director, Robert West, and Executive Vice President, Rodger Smock. So what was the criteria used by these two Rhodes Scholars that led them to conclude that Mrs. Perez was the best and right choice to serve as an overseer of the Robbery Program? 

Mrs. Perez was also once the self-appointed director of the WOW Committee, a body which was created to create a more cohesive and more effective working environment but which disbanded within a year after being created due to internal strife and dissatisfaction of it's participant's with Mrs. Perez's abusive and dictatorial methodologies. 



 PURPOSE

So why was the meeting conducted on a Saturday and why were deceptive ploys employed? 

According to President Wiggington, he didn't want news of the impending meeting finding it's way to the Internet. It's a rather inane excuse. Mrs. Boutte also later told staff that the meeting was a response to advice given to the President by the credit union's expensive consultants and overpaid attorneys. According to Mrs. Boutte, consultants informed the President that he must find a way to motivate employees to work harder which will not only serve to propel growth but will contribute to remedying the credit union's public image which at the moment, lies in tatters. The President was urged to focus on:
  • Finding ways to attract member interest in the credit union's aging and ho hum products and services.
  • Creating solutions that will dispel the credit union's vast member service-related issues and find ways of dispelling the member perception of the main branch which surveys show is viewed as "depressing", "unfriendly" and "miserable." 
The information provided by the credit union's sly attorneys warned the President that he must find ways of shoring up areas within the operation where highly confidential information is being leaked. And though the President has continually denied that he has ever violated confidentiality, the credit union's attorneys believe he is culpable for verbalizing much of the information which has been published on the Internet and verbalized to members. 



In 2011, the Board was informed that the credit union's Human Resources Department had not only failed to enforce policy including investigating allegations that members of the management sector had violated state law, but also refused to investigate grievances. The abuses were so widespread that just last year, the credit union was forced to implement a completely superficial and disingenuous restructuring of it's Human Resources which included changing the name of the department to Employee Services. Of course, we extend yet another invitation to the credit union to provide a synopsis of what the renamed department has done over the past year which attests to the changes it said would be introduced at the time the department was allegedly revamped. For the record, nothing actually changed. As we wrote, it was purely a change on paper. 



The President was also ordered to stop divulging confidential information but to date, he has refused to, periodically declaring, "No one tells me what to do." 

During the meeting, Ms. Garvin stated that satisfying assigned monthly goals will serve to determine whether or not an employee is granted a raise. Did the confused Ms. Garvin forget that there is a wage freeze in place which was implemented in early 2009? The credit union is not about to approve raises for any employees which Ms. Garvin doesn't realize, will impact an individual's motivation. 

Ms. Garvin is sufficiently out-of-touch that she felt impelled to state, "It's a way for you getting more money", referring to employees who attain their assigned goals. As we've reported in prior posts, the decision to assign monthly goals is a plot by which to justify the termination of employees which has become necessary since Priority One is just not able to generate the level of new business needed to offset it's above-average overhead. By terminating employees who fail to achieve their assigned monthly goals, the President is able to deflect attention from his failures which are the reason why business is suffering. 

Another piece of evidence that the entire plan is a scam perpetrated by the President and his assistants is that the credit union is not only requiring that employees achieve their assigned monthly goals, but that the departments they are assigned to, also achieve their assigned quotas. Subsequently, an employee who consistently achieves their assigned monthly goals will not receive an increase in salary if his department has failed to achieve it's total assigned quota. 

The credit union is not only forced to deal with waning business, it's annual expenditures on litigation has more than quadrupled since Charles R.  Wiggington, Sr. became President. Couple that with the immense amounts being spent on consultants and wasted spending on superfluous trappings and all that is left is a credit union whose overhead is too high for the amount of profit it is able to eek out from it's marketplace and a President whose spending is out-of-control   

AVP of Compliance, Patricia Loiacano, spoke to attendees about Cash Transaction Reports ("CTR"). Though we admit Mrs. Loiacano is highly knowledgeable about loans, she is an insipid public speaker and her character marred by the fact that when provided the opportunity, she is unmercifully condescending. All financial institutions in the United States are required to complete and submit CTR's for currency transactions in excess of $10,000. During the meeting, an employee asked how should staff respond to members who ask if a CTR is being filed. Mrs. Loiacano replied, "Whatever you do, don't tell them." Dissatisfied with Mrs. Loiacano's non-answer, another employee reiterated the question. This time, Mrs. Loiacano replied, "Don't say yes, don't say no." Employees were left bewildered. Evidently, Rodger Smock isn't the only officer who provides inane answers to intelligent questions. 


CHAPTER MEETINGS


The President recently began re-attending the Los Angeles Chapter meetings which take place once each month at Luminarias Restaurant in Monterey Park, California. For years, the credit union allowed employees to attend the meetings but in 2009 employees were informed the credit union could no longer afford to pay for the $30 per person charged levied by the Chapter. 

The reason for the President's recent return is has absolutely nothing to do with a resurgence in business but rather, a request by consultants that the President stop hiding and show people he is not affected by the public exposure of his illegal activities. 

He was accompanied by Executive Vice President, Rodger Smock, though we find it peculiar that the aged EVP agreed to attend. In 2009, Mr. Smock stated that the only reason why people attend monthly chapter meetings mis because of the "free food." Of course, Mr. Smock had absolutely nothing in the form of evidence to support his jejune statement but substantiating anything he feels impelled to say is often not impelled by reasoning. 

It's also noteworthy to point out that during his 19 years of employment, the President has rarely left the branch to visit Select Employer Groups or postal facilities with exception of attending bi-monthly meetings conducted at the postal carrier's union hall where some attendees have pointed out laughingly that the President likes to talk and spend a lot of time before meetings, in the bar located inside the hall. 

During his visit to the National Association of Letter Carriers' union hall, the President reiterated his lie that Priority One is reeling in success as attested to by high net capital. Sure it is.

NO THANK YOU

Ms. Garvin’s first big campaign is currently advertised on the credit union's webpage and invites members and potential members to ”drive away from your existing high‐interest auto loan AND lower your payments!” The promotion includes:
  • A 2% reduction of an applicant's loan rate currently financed at another credit union
  • No payments for up to the first 60 days in which the loan becomes effectives; and 
  • Award of a "Getaway [vacation] Certificate
The APR's offered by the credit union are described as a "Great Rate" with an added discount added for Direct Deposit into a Priority One checking account. Payments will not have to be made to the loan for up to 60 days and people who fund their loan with Priority One will receive a "Getaway [vacation] Certificate." 

Many members and potential members contacted the credit union to obtain information about how much their current APR might be reduced but discovered that any reduction is contingent upon the term of a loan. For example, the amount of an APR for loans with terms of 72 and 84 months is less than those for loans with terms of 48 and 60 months. What the pubic is of course not aware of is that Loan Processors and Officers have been instructed to approve and fund loans for a maximum of 48 months though the promotion offers on paper, The fact is, funding loans for terms of more than 48 months is something Priority One cannot afford to do. As the President revealed three-months ago, it is important to Priority One to fund loans that are paid-off quickly because these offer fast profit and which he admits is a reason why he eliminated the wide-variety of real estate loans once offered by the credit union. What's more, the hedge ("disclaimer") language reads, "This is not a loan offer." They're right. 

Unfortunately for the credit union, the response to Ms. Garvin's campaign has been lukewarm. Hopefully, this is not indicative of what we can expect of Ms. Garvin in her future endeavors. Otherwise, we're beginning to sense a repeat of Beatrice Walker. 



UNDESERVING

In 2009, President Wiggington was received a salary, approved by the Board of Directors, in the amount of $175,708. This was the same year the credit union ended with more than $500,000 in losses. Clearly, the salary was undeserved. 

President Wiggington remain employed because of ignorance and based on the October 2006 statements made by Directors, O. Glen Saffold, Thomas Gathers and Janice Irving, they selected Charles Wiggington because what Priority One needed most "is a Black president." It was also Board Chair, Diedra Harris-Brooks, who has not only retained his continued employment, it is she who orchestrated his reinstatement in 2008 after evidence was provided to the Board of Directors providing the President sexually harassed a former employee. It is also Mrs. Harris-Brooks who has approved the annual raises and bonuses given the President at the end of each year despite the losses of millions of dollars net assets, closures of branches, the adoption of expense reductions as key to the credit union's continued survival, and lawsuits provoked by the President and his executive staff as a result of their violation of state and federal laws. Undeniably, Charles R. Wiggington, Sr. is undeserving of his position and salary. 

The proof of the President's vast failures and may we add, unprecedented failures, are found in the credit union's Monthly Income Statements and Quarterly Financial Performance Reports ("FPR") which show that net assets have declined by about $24 million. 

The President's ploy to increase new business through the assignment of monthly quotas to each and every employee was doomed for failure because the same President who has proven incapable of creating effective strategies that reap new business and who spent more than $200,000 on the hiring of terminated former COO, Beatrice Walker, and who purchased a technically flawed $600,000 telephone system is the same President who is in charge of finding solutions for the blunders he alone created. 

The President recent efforts to try and rekindle relations with employees of the United States Postal Service by attending the National Association of Letter Carrier Branch 24 bi-monthly meetings and his attendance at the L.A. Chapter meeting are at best superficial and disingenuous attempts to try and remedy the credit union's heavily damaged public reputation.

When you get rid of most of your good employees and keep all theses devil what do you expect Satan is busy at this credit union and they will never survive because they are all evil people. God don't like ugly and he will never let this company be profitable because all their ways are evil did you hear that Mr.West, Smock, Wigg.Patti L, Esmerlda.Lynnette,Sylvia,Hema,.

West used to say the devil walked inside South Pasadena, but that was before he decided to join the devil's team. That meeting was a hoot and I never thought of it but you are so right John, they can use the new goals to deny giving us raises and maybe even use it to fire us. I heard Yvonne say management all got bonus' which were 3% of their salaries. Thats a lot of money from a credit union that's not making business.

Business is so good, Wigg ordered the branch mgrs and avp to keep the monthly reports under lock so that members can't take copies even though the law says members have to be given the report if they ask for it. And right now Sylvia is miserable because Burbank isn't getting the business. She knows that the lease is up this year and that Wigg is thinking about closing the branch. If they close it that means they will have to lay people off again and he'll probably have to send Sylvia to Santa Clarita because there's no room for her in Van Nuys or South Pas. And P1 has no chance of getting into Providence hospital like they thought they could back in 2010. You can blame that on Wigg, Smock and Bea because they dragged their feet on it and the higher ups at Providence decided not to let P1 in and even talk about opening their own credit union. If they ever open their own credit union, that means Providence employees who bank at P1 will close their accounts and that will finish off Burbank and hit Van Nuys hard too because a lot of Tarzana hospital members bank at Van Nuys. Its Wiggs fault because he didn't know how to take at business plus he got rid of smart employees and kept Smock, Yvonne, Randy, Sylvia, Lynnette, Joseph, West, and even fat Esmeralda.

In December Sylvia said that Wigg sent her an email saying to cut back on getting new member accounts and start getting loans. For years she's always saying "I got 50 new accounts," "I got 25 new accounts," "I got 15 new accounts." Its always the same old $5 account but no products. Im not surprised that we have so little business because Wigg didn't teach his managers to manage but how can he when he's so horrible?

You are right on. Wigg likes to keep all his staff ignorant, that's why he can point to large capital and say that the cu is doing great. He used to say the board wasn't smart and that they didn't understand financials which is TRUE but not all employees are like the board and they do understand the monthly reports and they see that business just isn't coming in and that can't possibly be good to anyone except Wigg who will get a HUGE retirement and payoff after he retires.

So is Wigg going to close Burbank? That office is a waste of money. If you think about it, Bea, Wigg and Rodger said Linda Nisely wasn't going out into the community and bringing in business and that's why Burbank didn't do well but she's been gone for a long time and Syvlia Perez has been controlling that branch and most of the business is Shared Branching. They aren't getting much on loans and the new memberships are usually brought in by Cindy and Martha with Sylvia bringing in some too. So was it Linda who couldn't get the business or is it Wiggington, Smock and Sylvia? Seems like the problem goes back to Wigg, Sylvia and Smock. So should they fire themselves?

Well how much are they worth now? When Wigg took over Mr Harris had made the CU more than $172 strong. How much are they worth today? They're smaller and they cut all their budgets so they must be saving been money. That'll tell you if they're doing good like Wigg claims or if they're doing bad like they probably are.

During the christmas party Wigg did say we're doing great and that we have lots of money. Most of us didn't or don't know that too much capital isn't good (not til now). He is such a big liar.

Cindy did tell us that we all have to start being respectful to members but the place is so miserable with people afraid they're going to lose their jobs and working for years without a raise and seeing that if you kiss enough butt, you job is safe and seeing that all managers get raises and benefits.

Cindy came from a credit union that ended 2010 in the red but like Bea she gets picked up by Charles and is in charge of making us make money. Not that she's completely at fault for her previous employers poor finances, but I wouldn't hire someone to plan out marketing and campaigns who came from a failing CU. Its reminds me of Bea who had a bad track record but got lucky when she landed her overpaid job at P1.

I also don't understand why if work has decreased for real estate why they send Nidia off to Burbank and then put Georgina to take her place in real estate. Georgina for years committed fraud and she's miserable and when she was trained in real estate in the past, she did bad.

Also there's been a lot of complaints about Sylvia. Even West who is now supposedly HR has heard complaints and he makes those snide little comments about Sylvia so that you know he doesn't like her either. I thought they were brother & sister in Jesus?

And Sylvia looks more miserable than usual. I think she's afraid there going to shut down Burbank which they should because that location is not cutting it. Ever drive by it? You can hardly notice the place.

Now I undertand. Wigg is bragging about how great we do but we don't get raises and they cut spending on supplies and giveaways and the place is just cheap.

Its nice to see that even though Charlie got rid of one of his own- Bea, that he still has another Bea in Yvonne Boutte even if her dream of becoming the next COO is going as planned. They way this blog affects management is also funny. Sylvia said she doesn't read it but she asks other employees if they read it and if the blog says things about her. She reads it, because everytime something new comes up, she looks pissed. Alex in collectons reads it and then she tells Yvonne what it says. Wigg looks at it because lately at work he's trying to prove that Missy Smock is not really his nurse. Bea probably still reads it but I don't know why since no one misses her and she's never going to read that she was a good leader or nice person. Esmeralda no longer tells people that what in isn't true because it is true plus she doesn't like being called "fat" which she is. And I know Robert West reads it but he no longer calls it the work of haters particularly since he's a hater and hypocrite.

West is useless. He gave us that training on motivation and robbery. Is that all he does? He was trainer for years, he should have those 2 things memorized. Why did Wigg promote him to employee specialist director? You don't need him, probably never have. The only reason he's still there is because Wigg makes excuses to keep him. He knew you didn't need a trainer so he gave him hr and then changed his title. He made it LOOK like you need him. Hate to say this but you could keep Esmeralda and boot West out along with over the hill Rodger.

Wigg was saying the chemo amnd meds are making him better and he says his appetite is back. So many good people have died of cancer but Wigg who I really think is more horrible then this blog says, is getting better. Makes you think.

So the 2 lawsuits are still on? No wonder Wigg seemes preoccupied. If theyre headed to court on Linda's suit, in just a few weeks, then he is probalby hoping she doesn't have witness to put a pin in his plan to ruin her reputation and show as a racist. Anyway, Wigg is a racist and so is the board. I remember comments he's made in the past about whites and Jewish people.

A lot of postal employees have closed their accounts. Some lost their jobs and moved to places where we don't have branches. You are right John, Wigg never put up posters and trained tellers to remind them they could use shared branching and keep their accounts open. I really don't think he cares and he not want members who don't have jobs.

Shared branching does cost P1 a lot of money but Wigg keeps it not because it makes the cu the money they need but because there down 3 branches and he better have something that members can use to get to their accounts. He's probably the only person on the planet who thinks shared branching is a substitute for a real branch.

Rodger's at Burbank holding a meeting to get goals together for 2012. Its kind a funny he picked the worst performing branch. Its also weird that he has never gone out and brought new business in and is still supposedly qualified to set goals. Humm??????

Rodger, Wigg, West, and Sylvia don't know how to get new business. Thats why they don't train employees on how to do so. When has Missy Rodger ever brought in a single account using some of his down home sales charm?

I don't think they got rid of Pattie because they couldn't afford to keep her. For years Wigg used to say he wanted her out because she had a big mouth, except he's got a bigger mouth. I think something happened at the LA branch and Lynnette back stabbed her. Lynnette backstabbed Cathy who was liked by members and who did a great job, but Lynnette was jealous of that. Lynnette also helped get rid of Kim for the same reasons plus she knew Kim knew more about operations than Lynnette learned in the 40 years she's been at P1. And Lynnette backstabbed Whitni. Maybe economics had a little to do with why they got rid of Pattie but if they wanted to get rid of people they don't need you could get rid of Joseph, Virginia Medford, Gema and Lynnette.

The only branch that makes the money now days is Los Angeles but you could run that office without Lynnette. South Pasadena isn't what it used to be and Van Nuys does fine but Burbank is sinking like it has been for 3 years. Since Sylvia works out of that office you have to ask, what is that she really does? She says she brings in the business and Wigg backs her up but why is a lot of the business shared branching and not loans and why did she spend years trying to get new members instead of getting more loans funded?

Syliva can't even get the ambassadors to come to her meetings. She used to talk about George like a dog saying he was lazy, not doing his work, and insubordinate, but homeboy had built good relations with the post offices. When he resigned, she panicked even though she wanted to get rid of him for years and she thought he was going to leave her all the information she needed so she could just take over. He didn't. He either took it with him or he deleted but she didn't get it. Then she tells Wigg and Missy Smock that she'll get the ambassador meetings going. Her first meeting no one showed up. Second, about 3 people showed up. They don't like her at the post office like they don't like her at the Burbank chapter. She used to walk into postal facilities and tell them she was there to talk to the carriers, but they told her she couldn't just walk in, she had to make appointments. They didn't like her pushiness either. She's got no tact or class, she's an old worn out chola. Most employees at P1 can't stand her and the 2 or 3 that talk to her only do so they can be in good terms with her because she is a pain in the ass. In the meantime, she is kind of deflated because Wiggy told her that they need to bring in loans. She likes new memberships with $5 deposits because those are so much easier to get then having someone sign a loan application. She was also told not to get CD's because the CU has to pay dividends. No matter what Wigg says, business is bad. The proof is in his and Sylvia's pudding.

Last week they opened the new Santa Clarita branch. Sylvia complained that she spent weeks there because there were so many problems getting the place ready. I'm surprised because she's such a master at everything she does- bitch. In the meantime, I looked at the Van Nuys and Burbank reports and business is so slow. Wigg keeps saying we're doing great but girl/man, Joseph Garica, says business is bad and that we need to get new business or Priority One is going to be sold. In that all company meeting Miss Wigg said business was great but now we're hearing we have too much money and business is way back plus that Cindy Garvin is another Bea Walker and not as smart as she says she is. I wish I were Rodger, cause all I'd have to do is sit in my office and talk to my boyfriend and cut coupons. That's the ticket.

I don't know if I should be laughing but today Joseph Garcia got promoted to VP of Sales. Everyone knows that as Loan Manager he didn't know how to process loans. He used to be the Call Center Supervisor but got booted out because he couldn't supervise and there were too many member complaints. He never goes out and brings in business and even though they've called him the manager of consumer loans, lately all he does is visit branches and gives his same old pep talks that we better bring in new business or the credit union is going to be taken over by another credit union. With all that, stupid ass Wigg promotes him to VP of sales. Wigg and Joseph couldn't sell ice cream in Death Valley. The joke continues.

They used to have a latin clique at the main office that's why they like speaking Spanish instead of English and why they always celebrated Mexican holidays. At LAPDC the preference is black because of the location and because Lynnette is more comfortable with blacks (though she'll back stab them like she would a white person). It was nice when they got Riverside because there was a mix with more whites than they ever saw, but now the offices in Riverside don't exist anymore.

There are a lot of people at P1 (like there are every where else) that have accents but Joseph speaks so fast that I can never understand what he's talking about.

Cecilia is upset like Lynette and Gema, because they are under Joseph and have to go out in the field to get new business. Business is so bad, we made less than $250,000 in January when according to Wigg they needed about $1 million. Joseph who knows about as much about sales as she does about running a Call Center has told them they need to get out in the field and get the business or the company might have to start cutting back hours and firing employees. Yup, things are so much better, oh wait they're not!

Ceclia was also pissed because Sonia got promoted and said it wasn't fair to fraud artist, Georgina. Sneaky boy look-alike, Gema, thinks she's being slick because she doesn't want to go out into the field and has been hiding in the Call Center trying to get new loan applications. Its kind of funny because in 2011, Bea dumped Joseph and kicked his tired ass to the curb. She then made Gema her fav and even promoted her to AVP. Joseph was pissed and said Bea had promised him that position. Now Joseph can tell Gema what to do and he is such a b*tch, he probably will go after her if she's not careful.

Wigg's latest brain storm is to get all the business development team- Hector, Cindy & Martha, out in the field full-time, knocking door to door and then staying in the office on Wednesdays so they can share their progress with Miss Joseph and cold call members who got loans approved. Ah, if the loan department doesn't have much work, why don't they call during the day. I know the last thing I want is a call from Priority telling me my loan got approved when they already sent me a letter. I'm waiting for the day when Wigg orders staff to put on some statute of liberty costumes and start dancing out in front of the South Pasadena office.

Gema got so stressed thinking Bea was going to can her, that she hyperventilated and got taken away from the paramedics. Then she tooks some days off and when she returned to work, she hid behind the teller line for months. In 2011, Bea takes the call center from Joseph because Joseph is not doing his job as supervisor. They give the call center to Gema and they give member services to Joseph. Then they take member services from Joseph and give it back to Gema. Now they are giving the call center and member services to back-stabbing, stick my nose in everything, Yvonne Boutte who has as many people skills as a cobra. Wigg and his girlfriend, Rodger, have a weird way of running the credit union........ into the ground.

Gema is scared. Like that's a surprise. Wigg had a meeting telling her and Yvonne about the changes. Gema came out scared started going around asking "what's going to happen to me?" and "what's this mean?" Means you're not going to be over the call center or member services and that you're MAYBE going to have to work. It also means no more hiding behind the tellers or in the call center or telling everyone you're too good to do grunt work. She should start by working on her English and maybe begin using words like "please" and "thank you." Boy, it looks like she and Georgina are not able to work the system no more.

So Joseph who couldn't get loans going, is in charge of business development & his big plan is to get Lynnette and Gema who hate doing business development to leave their comfy desks and go get business. Well, I know Miss Lynnette can't use the excuse that LAPDC needs her because they have Susan taking care of ATMs and really, LAPDC hasn't needed her lazy ass for years. Look at the airport branch, they are fine without her. I know Sylvia must be happy because she loves BD but I know Cecilia likes being Branch Mgr of Van Nuys and can't be too crazy of spending most of her time out on the streets. Today was the first night Joseph had BD working til 7 at night. Does anyone know how it went? He wants them to cold call members who got loan approvals. Why, doesn't P1 mail out approval letters anymore? He could have helped create products to help that community and maybe offered some free financial classes to educate the people. Instead he knew LAPDC makes LOTS of business, not because of useless Lynnette Fortson, whose a female Wiggington, but because that branch is basically a check cashing office just like any other store front cashing service. He doesn't care about people of any color because with him its about fattening his stomach and pockets though now days he looks like shit and ever since he was told to either get a lot more new business or start more cut-backs, he starting to look sick again.

As a member I've requested documents and have been denied. Wigg is full of crap. When I was depositing over 20K in cash he was cool.

When I asked for returned item policies as of 8/2010; I was not provided with it. Because, it would have proved that the bank was a fault and errors had been made on my account.

I will get to the bottom of this and if they think I will go away quietly, their sadly mistaken. My family has been with the USPS for over 60 years.

PCU has to worse Customer Service in the world. As a member, I stopped using my accounts 2007 due to their poor practices.

You can't even imagine the level of disregard President Wiggington and in particular, his member service, collections and call center staff have for members. They rarely reply to voicemails. They provide misinformation. They refuse to provide copies of their policies. You call the President and he has someone else call you. Gema Pleitez who was the branch manager and is now an AVP, for years and years, would send incoming calls requesting her assistance, into her voicemail. It was a problem one other AVP tried to correct but he ran into a wall with Wiggington, Smock, and of course, Gema. The call center staff was never properly trained by Bea and when she placed Joseph Garcia over the department, service fell apart.

Well we all know what West is and it ain't good. And Sylvia acts like a wet hen, running here, running there, stressing her staff and really, as dumb as dirt. I have yet to see anyone put a comment about how professional she is or how wonderful she treats employees or how she is organized.

Smock wishes he could be a gym teacher at a Latino all boys school. And it really never made sense that he supervised business development when he's NEVER brought in business. He just hides in his office, cuts coupons, complains about his boyfriend, and lets others do the work. For years he helped Wigg, Sylvia and Lynnette backstab so many good employees.

Lynnette has to be a backstabber because that woman has nothing going for her. She's the worst manager and she's been at P1 for what, 60 years?

Wigg doesn't trust Yvonne that's why he keeps her leashed. She screwed up when she joined forces with Bea to screw him over. She ever planned on firing Smock and West but she got fired first. Is there enough drama at P1? Its like a Latin soap opera at South Pas.

And you are so right, they scrape the bottom of the barrel nowdays, to get the worst people into management, case in point, Randy McBride and Joseph Garcia. And it is the "ghetto" President and his side kick, Missy Smock, who are to blame.
